Waking up the next morning to someone brushing my hair out of my face. Frowning opening my eyes there was Mia. She shushed me and pulled me to the kitchen. There was coffee in the pot which means Mason was awake. We made us a cup in sat at the table.

"So, how are you holding up?" My eyes fixated on my cup of coffee. How was I really? Shrugging and sipping my coffee. "The first few days were the hardest. Now? I miss them but I just can't cry anymore." That might've been a little lie, but she doesn't need to know everything. She held my hand giving me a small smile. "I'm sorry Mads that you have to go through this."

A large thump sounded above us, must be Mason. "Maybe you should check on him? You were pretty harsh on him last night." She has a point. sighing and standing up. I make my way to hi room. Gently knocking on the door before pushing it open. I was met with Mason in his police uniform. My breath caught, making me choke and cough. How can someone be this god damn attractive?

He stops and stares at me, making me more nervous. I walk over and take his hand pulling him to sit with me on his bed. Oh my god. I'm on his bed with him. He just stares at me in my eyes the entire time.

"Mason, first, thank you so much for the mini birthday celebration. Second, I'm sorry, so sorry. What I said to you was a lie. Ever since you kissed me that's all I can think of. It's all I want." He furrowed his eyebrows, his eyes started to take in my entire face. "You were so pissed last night for no reason, I responded hoping to hurt you like I hurt." He grimaced at my words. "Mads, I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have acted the way I did. Greyson just pissed me off, and I'm not allowed to be thinking about you in this way, but dammit." I felt his hand on my thigh, my body heated up. "You're in my bed, in these shorts that are pretty much underwear, and I can't even touch you the way I want to." I blush deeper red looking at my lap.

"Also, I was your first kiss? How does that work with Greyson?" His voiced held amusement. "We just never got to it. I'm not sure. Janelle kept him busy in that department. I would suck at all that anyways." He smirked and rolled his eyes. "Trust me, that kiss didn't suck." I shrug not believing him. He quickly stood up pulling me up with him. Before I could step back, his lips were on mine. One of his hands tilted my head up while the other one wrapped around my waist. I moan at the sudden contact and wrap my hands around his neck. He smirked against my lips. The gentle kiss became demanding as if we couldn't get enough. I gently pull on his hair that received a groan from him. Pullig away, resting his head on mine. "Trust me Mads, your kisses are addicting." I let out a giggle. When the hell have, I ever giggled.

I just remember his uniform being on. "Mason? You have to go to work?" I watch as he fixes his hair in the mirror. He gives me a sad smile and nods. "Yeah Mads. I hate leaving you especially leaving us at this, but I have to. I need to search for these assholes before they find you. Jason will be outside the entire time. I promise, you'll be safe still. I'm not them hurt what's mine." His? He just told me we couldn't be together. As if sensing me being upset. He stopped and spoke.

"We will discuss this tonight Mads; I promise. But no matter what you'll always be mine deep down. But I have to leave, or I'll be late. I'll see you tonight, Hun." He places a light kiss on my mouth before giving me a small smile and leaving. What the hell just happened?

I lay back on his bed as his over puffy blankets engulf me. I breath in his smell of the woods mixed with blueberries. Yummy. Mia opens the door and runs over jumping on the bed. "His bed is Ah-Mazing." I laugh at her. "He looked mighty fine in his uniform. He also looked pretty happy. Why was that?" She smirked at me as I told her everything. She loved every detail I gave her. She was now trying to convince me to let her have him, jokingly of course.

Time passed by decently fast. I made dinner, meatloaf. I wanted to make it as a thank you for Mason he's been helping us out so much. I heard the front door close as I took the food from the oven. Turning the oven off I look behind me as Mason looked in the kitchen spotting me, he walked quickly towards me, on a mission. His hands positioned on the same spot as earlier as his lips were on mine. There was urgency this time. His lips fight with mine as he leans me against the counter. Taking his hands off me and placing them on either side of me he separated slips for mine resting his forehead online. He closes his eyes and stands there breathing. A smile to over his stress facial expression.
