"Kunikuzushi! Wait!"
Kunikuzushi quickly turned around grabbing the one yelling his name by his wrist, shoving his back up against the tree. "Quit it!! I don't care what you say, I'm not changing my mind." He started to twist the other male's wrist looking at him with the most hostile glare in his eyes.
Seeing Kunikuzuhi with such an aggressive look in his usual calming blue-purple eyes, was enough to make his heart feel a thorn. Confused as to why he was so mad...
The white-haired male looked away to the side, his wrist was hurting, a lot. But he remands silent, he didn't want to upset Kunikuzshi even more. He closed his eyes trying his best not to look at his friend's angered look. Just a few seconds after, he felt himself get thrown onto the ground as his friend spoke

"Don't come after me, This is the last time we're seeing each other."

He listened and didn't go after his friend.

........

"I still wonder to this day if he's okay, but I accepted his request and didn't go after him," Kazuha said, leaning against the support that was holding one of the large crossbows on the ship. Looking at beidou with a faint chuckle. "Apologizes. Didn't think such a story would make you shed a tear, captain Beidou" He teased slightly with a small smile.
"I-...I'm not. Just a piece of hair went into my eye." The tall brunette let out a laugh, she just finished setting up a large arrow into the bow. Sitting down next to her shorter friend, wrapping her arm around his shoulders, swiftly making her hand into his hair, ruffling it to mess it up with a wide grin
"Don't worry kiddo! You won't ever lose us as long as you're a part of the crux!

"Ah, if I happen to leave. Would you still like me?" Kazuha raised an eyebrow, trying to fix his hair although it was quite difficult with the captain's hand on his head.

"Pfft, no way man!" The female laughed, nudging him slightly with the hand that wasn't placed in his soft hair "What kind of question is that!?" She smiled, Kazuha knew she was being sarcastic so he wasn't upset by her words.

After a while of silence, just the sound of the ship against the hard waves of the ocean hitting the sides, Kazuha realized he had no idea as to where they were going, or why he and beidou were up where one of the highest crossbows are. He opened his eyes disturbing his peace, looking at beidou, who had not moved her arm off of his shoulder nor her hand off of his head. But he didn't mind much
"Beidou, may I ask the reason why we're with the bow? And while I'm with the questions...where are we going?" He spoke with his usual, soothing voice.

"Ah! Right, I must've forgotten to tell my favorite mate" The captain messed up Kazuha's hair "Lady Ningguang has requested me to do...some business. As for the c- HEY! Wipe that smug look off of your face, it's business nothing more" Beidou's cheeks flushed a faint red
Kazuha was looking at beidou with a smug look when she mentioned Ningguang "Hm..say whatever you please captain beidou. Although the redness of your face is making my assumptions seem more true every second"

The female let out a scoff before speaking, not staying on the topic of Ningguang and Kazuha's unintentional teasing. "We're up with the crossbow cause I was informed earlier that the fatui has been sailing around these areas of the water. Of course, we aren't going to attack, only if they do it first."
"Ah, I understand" Kazuha nodded and turned his head frontwards again, closing his eyes listening to the sounds of the waves smack against the bottom of the boat. Getting lost in thought and his world, not paying attention to any other noise or person on the ship.

A few hours have passed by, to the white-haired male it only felt like a few minutes..might also be because of the fact he had fallen asleep leaning against Beidou. The captain didn't mind, at most, she was glad to see Kazuha getting some rest. So she stayed sitting there next to him until she noticed they were getting close to their destination.
"Psst, Kazuha. Wake up" The female nudged her friend. Attempting to wake him up, for some odd reason he didn't wake with just a nudge...normally he was a very light sleeper. Jeez, he must've been very tired.
She thought for a few seconds before letting out a sigh, patting Kazuhas head gently before starting to mess with the red streak that was in his hair.
"Kazuhaa~ cmon wake up. You can see one of your dearest friends if you do" She quietly laughed, her words weren't a lie. After all, they were arriving at Watatsumi Island. So there's a high possibility Kazuha could see his friend Gorou.

A small groan came from the shorter male in Beidou's arms, which made her smile
"Good! You're awake. We are soon boarding off, so stretch your legs you scallywag" She said as she unwrapped her arms from the other, jumping down off of the platform the crossbow is on. Walking towards the rest of her crew to chat.

As for Kazuha, he was still waking up. He sat up straight stretching his arms up with a yawn, looking around at his surroundings with his eyes half-open. Using his left hand to rub his eyes, glancing around his surroundings once again after he rubbed his eyes. Noticing the large pink seashells from afar...the ship was quite far from there but he could still tell from other features of the island where they were "Ah of course...Watatsumi Island. Now it's clear as what Beidou meant by a good friend." he whispered to himself. Standing up jumping off of the platform as well. Fixing his hair since Beidou had messed it up quite a lot by messing with it, Walking over to the others since the ship had now stopped moving and they could get off the ship.

About 15 minutes passed they were all off the ship, what needed to be loaded off has been off already. Everyone went straight to what they needed to do...but Kazuha. He wasn't sure if he had to do anything specific or not. Ah, He didn't even know they were coming to Inazuma, At least it was Watatsumi Island. He stood where he was as he thought, his hand holding his chin while looking at the ground, Beidou noticed that the male looked kinda lost, not sure if he was lost in thought or lost in what to do.
The tall female walked over to her friend, placing her hand on his shoulder "What's on your mind?"
Kazuha's head popped up when his shoulder was touched, turning his head to look at Beidou and faintly smiled.
"It's nothing, just quite confused as to what I'm sup-" he was cut off by the other
"Nothing! Take a break, go for a walk or do whatever you want. You helped me a lot before we left" She punched his shoulder and smiled before walking off to continue her duties.

Kazuha smiled softly and slightly nodded "Will do captain..." he sighed softly, he enjoyed helping Beidou but he can't exactly do that if there was nothing he could do. So he decided to walk around the island, walking through the water before going on land. That was repeated a few times but he didn't mind really.

Quite a few minutes passed by as a leaf flew nearby Kazuha. He gently grabbed it looked at it as if he was examining it, a small smile plastered across his face. He sat on the edge of the pathway, by now he was halfway up to where the shrine was. He looked out at the view of watatsumi island as he began to play a tune with the leaf since he thought he was the only one there right now. His eyes closed as he played the tune with the green leaf.

Not realizing there was another set of ears hearing the music nearby...
