9 | Jiujiu and Shishu

"Lan Zhan, why do I feel unease at all of sudden?" Wei Wuxian held Lan Wangji's shoulders as they arrived at that place again.

"Wen Ning...?" Wei Wuxian tried to call the other. They knew that Wen Ning was guarding here. But the next things happened was the past repeated itself again.

"WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!" Fairy barked at him, there still had a piece of torn cloth at his mouth.

"EEK! WHY THAT DOG IS HERE INSTEAD?" he exclaimed and immediately hid himself behind Lan Wangji. His arms were wrapping around his waist, trembled.

"Nie Huaisang has already been here before us or Wen Ning and there is a chance Jin Ling is trapped in there by now. Let's find him quick,"Lan Wangji shooed the dog and held his hand, took him to inside.

"Sighs... Yes, Lan Zhan. I will not return very late for you this night, for real. I will gonna send Jin Ling to Jiang Cheng and ran away as fast as I could. Jin Ling immediately woke up as the progress of transferring curse mark had finished in front of his eyes.

"O-oi... is that curse mark just from me and what happened? Where did you put my clothes and what are you gonna do next?" Jin Ling sat up and covered his body with blanket as Wei Wuxian steadied himself.

"Kid, let the adults take the risks. Don't ever think of taking this curse mark back. I will be healed by my own. You were trapped there in the wall, thanks to the dog of yours," Wei Wuxian responded him as he sighed, gave him his clothes back.

"You know what? As a payment for rescuing me, I will take you to my uncle Jiang- wait, what time is it?" Jin Ling widened his eyes slightly as he didn't want to make troubles for the adults again.

"Almost dark?" Wei Wuxian knitted one of eyebrows, confidently knew that he could escaped immediately this time.

"Oh... OH SHIT- I SUPPOSED TO BE WITH SHISHU THIS MORNING. JIUJIU AND SHIGU GONNA BREAK MY LEG AGAIN. COME WITH ME," with a suprise, Jin Ling actually had all strength to drag Wei Wuxian out of here.

"I'M GONNA BE DEAD SO BAD- Oh no, shhh!!!" Jin Ling immediately pulled him back to hide behind the wall, hid from being caught by someone.

"Oi kid, since why do young people have a lot of energy after waking up from rest-"

"SHH!!! Be quiet, will you? I didn't know JIUJIU and SHISHU were here. They're having a conversation, listen," Jin Ling pushed harshly his mouth by his finger, Wei Wuxian only twitched one corner of his eyes in annoyance as this Jin Ling was too energetic after waking up.

"Sighs... I didn't know how I lost him as we got seperated at this morning..." Jiang Xianzhan, also known as Modern!Wei Wuxian, held both of Jiang Cheng's shoulders while heading down, let out a sigh.

"And...?" Jiang Cheng knitted one of his eyebrows, arm crossed.

"I might be gone insane and mentally crazy after I lost Jin Ling but... Ghost General Wen Ning was out there somewhere in Qinghe forest-" Jiang Cheng immediately choked on his own saliva after hearing Wen Ning was seen by his shixiong. Jiang Xianzhan only gripped on his shoulders for comforting him while looking at him.

"I take that response as a question. Yes, I indeed saw him today. He was the first one who approached me as he mistook me as his master, Wei Wuxian. Weird, isn't it? I though he was already burnt into dust but guessed what, he didn't. I tried to capture him but that Ghost General was surprisingly strong and escaped from me after hours of fighting," Jiang Xianzhan finally let him go, head looked down and let out a sigh.

"Oh wait, those are Sect Leader Jiang and Xiaofu Jun your Jiang uncles, right?" Wei Wuxian carefully observed the new Jiang brothers, felt little bit sad that Jiang Cheng didn't call him shixiong in the past. Only got Wei Wuxian, Wei Ying or A-Xian from him.

He did feel little relieved and also dissappointed that this Jiang Xianzhan ruined the plan at the end. He just needed to get back to Lan Wangji and checked on Wen Ning right now. Suprisingly, Jin Ling only nodded to him in agreement and dragged him to Jiang brothers by all the force. Wei Wuxian mentally facepalmed and groaned as this kid kept dragging him.

"And that brat hasn't got back yet. I didn't know how do we tell this to shijie without her overreacting about her missing shizhi-"

"Ahhh, Jiujiu, Shishu, I'm here!!!" Jin Ling waved his hand at them as he dragged Wei Wuxian to them.

"Now you're here, brat. Where did you go and who is this senior- Mo Xuanyu?" Jiang Cheng was little stunned by his nephew's sudden action.

"Ahahah, sorry Shishu for leaving you alone in the morning without your knowledge but this Mo Qianbei saved me from danger. He needs to be treated as he transferred the curse mark from my body to his body," Jin Ling explained while awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.

Jiang Cheng only left speechless and Jiang Xianzhan gave him a light short cough to not make anything awkward. They just got a new interesting fact about someone from Mo Village, Mo Xuanyu, who is a cutsleeve and low level cultivator, also kicked out from Lanling Jin Sect because harrassing his uncle, Jin Guangyao, happened to be his half-brother, had save their nephew Jin Ling. Very interesting fact indeed.

Meanwhile, Wei Wuxian just wanted to leave here. He needed to meet up with Lan Wangji and Nie Huaisang, not accepted any hospitality from Yunmeng Jiang Sect! He knew that there was no hope to escape at here so he needed to escape at the middle of night.

"Hah... Mo Qianbei, please kindly accept my hospitality to treat that curse mark on your body in return of saving my nephew earlier," as Wei Wuxian knew, his martial brother Jiang Cheng would offered his hospitality. He knew that he couldn't reject because of this Jin Ling kept dragging so he sighed and accepted the offer.
