Childhood Swing

Prolouge

Stella's POV
Me and my best friends were playing tag in the playground. I was currently it and I was chasing them around trying to get one of them to be it.
"Tag your it" I said when I tagged him. Joe had brown hair and brown eyes. I started running away from him and running towards Tyler. Tyler had green eyes and light brown hair.
"RUN TYLER JOE IS IT!" I yelled panting because of running.
We both ran until we couldn't and Joe catched up to us. We decided that we didn't want to play anymore.
"Let's go swing!" Tyler said. We walked to the swings and got on.
"I have to tell you something." Joe suddenly said.
"What is it?" I asked him narrowing my eyebrows.
"Yeah what is it?" Tyler says.
"I heard mommy and daddy talking and saying that we are moving." Joe said sadly.
"Oh, but you can't move!" I said getting really sad. I started crying because one of my best friends is moving.
"Don't cry please!" Joe pleaded.
He got off his swing and hugged me. Then Tyler hugged me and Joe.
"We will always be best friends no matter what!" Tyler said.
"Cross your heart?" I asked.
"Cross our hearts." Tyler and Joe said at the same time.

For the past days we have been with each other trying to spend as much time that we have together. Then came Tuesday... The day Joe was moving.
"Please don't forget about me and Tyler." I said to Joe
"I crossed my heart that you and Tyler would be my best friends forever." He said.
"Yeah." I said remembering what he and Tyler did the day at the playground when Joe told us.
"Say goodbye to your friends honey we have to get going." Joe's mommy said to him.
"I got to go I'll never forget you guys." Joe said. He hugged Tyler and then he hugged me.
"Goodbye" he said.
"Bye." We said.
He got in his parent's car then his dad closed the door and got in.
Joe looked out the car window and waved at us. We waved back at him until we couldn't see him anymore.
