At the end of the school day I had 10 missed calls from my lawyer. Oh my god. That's the lawyer that I had for Julia. What the hell is wrong with my child. I call back as I'm walking home.
"Hello? Blair?" she answers.

"Hello. What's wrong you called 10 times." I said. Worry was clear in my voice.

"Her parents died. You are her legal guardian now." I stopped in my tracks. What the hell did she just say?

"What ha-happened?" I asked stuttering.

"They were on a plane to a business meeting and it broke down."

"Was Julia on the plane?" I ask seriously.

"No that's why she is still alive."

"When are you gonna bring her to me?"

"Tomorrow?"

"Okay what time?"

"10 A.M."

"Okay I will see you then." I said and hung up. I'm gonna see my little girl. Her poor parents. Wow. Now how to tell my parents. What will I do when I have school. Ugh this is too much.

When I get home I walk into the kitchen and see my mom. This is my chance.

"Hey mom... can I talk to you?" I asked nervously.

"Are you pregnant again? You have been back 2 weeks." My mouth dropped.

"Mom! No... its just that Julia's parents died on a business trip. I am her legal guardian now. She is kind of coming tomorrow at 10 A.M." I said.

"Okay. We need daycare and a crib."

"Yeah. I know. I don't know what to do." I say.

"There is a daycare right near your school." she suggests.

"Yeah I will go now and check it out and then I will buy a bassinet for her to sleep in. She can sleep in my room."

"Okay I will see you later. Love you."

"Love you too mom." I say as I walk out.

When I get to the daycare they show me around. It is really cheep. 50 dollars a month. Not too bad. I have a lot of money saved up so I can use that until she starts going to school.

When I leave I go to baby's R us. I get some clothes for her. Then I get a bassinet. Damn. Bassinets are so expensive.

As I was leaving I had to run into Aaron. My luck sucks.

"Hey what are you doing here?" He says as he walks to me.

"Shopping... for um my cousin." It comes out more like a question.

"Your cousin?" He asks.

"Yeah. What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Shopping for my new baby sister." He says smiling.

"Awe congratulations!" I say smiling. Maybe he would make a good dad. "Can I talk to you later? Like tonight?" I ask.

"Um yeah sure." He says... worried?

"Okay dinner tonight at McDonalds 8:00?" I say and he smiles.

"Haven't changed at all I see."

"Yeah I'll see you later?" I say walking away.

"yep bye" He answers.

When I get out of the store I just bring the cart with me I can't carry this crap. I'll just return the cart tomorrow.
