-At Riley's house-
"Riles, I have to tell you something"
"What happened?"
"I'm umm going on a date with Lucas"
"WHAT! MAYA HOW COULD YOU"
"He asked me!"
"You could have said no!"
"Why does everything have to be about you , Riley?
"What do you-u mean?
"You have this great family and house and all these friends. My mother has to try and keep her job and my dad left me!"
Maya stormed out of there and started getting ready for her date.
"I don't want to look like Riley or act like a scumbag"
She got out a pair or cut jeans and a top that said "Animal Lover" because she had a kitten living in her room
Then the doorbell rang.
"Hey Clutterbucket"
"Hey cowboy"
"You look casual"
"I know, something wrong?"
"Nope"
-Riley's Pov-
I cant believe her. She knew I liked him. I could have been the one on the date. Just why? Give me a reason.
