"Father" She called out as her father looked at her "What's love?" She asked him as he chokes on his coffee "You're too young for that" He replied as fumiko furrows her brows "Father, I'm Not 8" She said taking a bite of her toast,
Her father hummed as he took a sip from his coffee "Fine"

"Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion-" He explained as he gets cut off by fuyu"and commitment!" Fuyu said as fumiko nods "To love is to recognize the divine in another person" Fuyu continued "Love can vary in intensity and can change over time" The mother adds as she walked inside the kitchen

"Morning!" The father greets as the mother pats his head "Mother, may i ask you something?" Fumiko sat down next to her mother as the mother nods

"How'd you meet father?"

The mother chuckled making the father pout "Don't tell them pleasee..it's humiliating" He begged as fuyu laughs "Dad, you look like a dog!" He mocked as fumiko laughed lightly "But mother seriously, tell us.." Fumiko said as the father hides his face with his hands in embarrassment for what's about to be revealed

"Go mom!" Fuyu encouraged as the mother chuckled "March 22,____" The Mother started "That's it, It was the day i met him" She smiled

MITSUKI SHIZUKU (12 YEARS OLD)
March 22,1:55pm

I was on my way to the tournament with my parents..

Little mitsuki was in the passenger seat, sitting in silence as her mother held her report card "Mitsuki,we need to talk about your report card" Her mother said as mitsuki's eyes widen "But, I got straight A's!" Mitsuki replied

"Not here" Her mother said pointing to the gender selection "Ugh, Yea! F because im female!" Mitsuki shouted "Being a girl is not an excuse!" The Mother remarked as the car stopped because of amount of cars in front of them "Ugh,Traffic!" The father grumbled

"Now, what am i gonna do.." Mitsuki said with obvious worry on her face "How much time have i got?" Mitsuki asked her mother as her mother mumbled some stuff mitsuki couldn't hear "I meant before the tournament!" Mitsuki cut off her mother's mumbling and turned to her father "5 Minutes" The father replies "You'll make it if you run" The father stated as mitsuki quickly opened the car door

"And remember-!" mitsuki looked back at her mother "I know I know, I love you too!" Mitsuki said with a smile "No, I was gonna say second place is first place for losers but yeah that too!" Her mother said as mitsuki rolled her eyes and left.

She ran to the park, she saw two people who were gently pushing baby strollers as mitsuki swerved past them light gasps were heard from the two strangers, She ran more before a guy cementing the floor was seen "It took all day but i got the job done!" The guy said wiping away the sweat from his forehead "Ugh" Mitsuki took a turn and she ran and ran and ran before she realized

I was lost..

Little mitsuki tried to catch her breath, She looked around but didn't recognize the area "Uh hello?" Mitsuki turned towards the direction of the voice

and that's when I saw him

A male who looked like he was mitsuki's age, He had pretty white hair and an average looking face "A little help, please?" He smiled "I'm Katsu" He introduced himself and tried to move his hand for a handshake as mitsuki scanned him, He was tied to the tree making mitsuki laugh at him "Mi-Mitsuki" She tried to stop her laughter as she shakes his struggling hand "I know you" He shook her hand with a smile "Soo..how?" She looked at him up and down

"Well..I was playing with some kids" "Aww"
"Then they suddenly got mad at me" "Oh?"
"Then they tied me to the tree" "Ohh wow.."

"-Okay, Don't move!" She took out a pair of scissors from a bush nearby "AHHHH!!" The boy screamed as soon as he saw the sharp object and surprised mitsuki with how loud he was "Calm down, Idiot!" Mitsuki shouted as he calms down and closes his eyes tightly "One..Two.." Mitsuki counts before she cuts the ropes that tied the boy "There!"

"Uhm..I've got to run now" Mitsuki tried to bid farewell to the boy but he stopped her "Why?" Katsu asked "To compete" Mitsuki replied "Why?" He asked again "Cause..I have to fight" Mitsuki said "Why?" He repeated

"Because I have to be the best" She replied "Why?" He repeated once more"So..People will like me" She said as she rubbed her nape "But lots of people already like you" He remarked, making mitsuki's eye widen "Really? like who?" She asked as katsu's cheeks turned bright red, making mitsuki look at him weirdly then the sudden sound of the bell made her flinch "!!!"

Mitsuki gasped "It's 2 O'clock already!" She realized "I'm too late!" She sobbed and sat on the floor "I've gotta go home empty-handed" She cried and leaned on the tree katsu was tied to moments ago "Not quite empty-handed" The white haired boy sayid making mitsuki look at him "You have a..chocolate bar"

He gave it to mitsuki as she accepted it with a slight smile on her lips, The boy then looked in his pockets and realized that was the last edible thing he had "Half A Chocolate Bar..?" He nervously asked for some chocolate as mitsuki gave him half, they ate their chocolates before mitsuki asked

"What Would You Do If You Were Me?" Katsu grinned "If I've Done Everything You've Done I Would Be A God" He joked as mitsuki chuckled "I mean what should i do with my life?" She asked "Hmmm..maybe start living it?" He replied as mitsuki grinned and nodded "Right!"

"𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗜 𝗠𝗘𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥" Mitsuki says as fuyu and fumiko lightly clap "Dad was an loserrr-!" Fuyu bursted out laughing "Shut up, you brat!" The father started to chase fuyu around the kitchen and they were out of sight in no time as they moved to the living room

The two female mori's were left in the kitchen "Why're you asking about love?" The mother asked with a raised brow "You never did before" The mother said with suspicion (like 🤨)

"uh.." Fumiko gulped as her cheeks become red "You have someone in mind, right~?" The mother smirks as fumiko nods "Don't tell anyone, okay?" Fumiko said "I won't" The mother smirked "So..is he cute~?" The mother teased "Mom shush!" Fumiko whisper-yelled as the mother laughs at her flustered daughter
