She looks out of the bay window, the Sun shining into her bedroom. Her head leant against the frame looking out at the beautiful garden with a sea of blue and purple flowers covering every inch of the area. A long stream coming from the fountain at the back of the castle, making what looks like a watery path with fish jumping in and out of the fresh water. At the end of the garden the stream lead to a small mountain making it look like a valley.
Over the stream was a bridge and that led to a marble statue of her dear departed mother. A small tear falls down her cheek as her eyes glance towards the statue. She quickly wiped it away as she changes her focus to knocking on her door.
"Yrs , hello, who is it?" She replies as she fixes herself up.The door let out click as it opened reveling one of her servants, peaking his head into the room. "Yes Miss your father would like to see you" The servant says, a friendly smile plastered on his lips and crow lines spread across the corner of his eyes.
"Thank you, Soeyoung" Nodding her head as she faces the window again, Soeyoung let's put a small sign as he walks towards the young girl. "Looking out at the garden again are we?" "why is it blue, why is every flower and tree blue?" The same question she asks the old man everyday.
"I don't know"."Liar" she mumbles placing her chin in her hand, staring out to the blue ocean.
"If you want to know so badly you know what to do" Soeyoung stands in front of her, laying his hand out for her to take. She places her hand in his, standing up and walking towards and out of her door. "But he won't tell me you know that 'I'll tell you when your older' he says" "then you wait till your older" She stops, a pout forming in her lips.
"Soeyoung I'm 20 years old!" She wines pulling in the poor servants sleeve. "How much older could I get?!" She argues as the servant pulls her down the hallway towards the throne room. Where her father stands beside a table at the side of the room.
"Ah your here, sweetheart have to have a word with you".She walked up to the dark oak table, papers scratched all over the table top. Pulling a chair out, she say down in front of her father placing her feet up top. The king let's out a loud sigh as he leans on table. "Daughyer.......there is something I need to tell you" He pause before he spoke again, wanting to make sure she was paying attention. "It time for you to get.......married" "Married!?" She rushes up causing the chair to fall and hit the ground with a loud thud.
"Yes darling, it's your time to take the throne" He replied, trying to keep her calm. "B-but your only 42, you can't possibly be old enough to retire!" She yells pacing back and forth, her heels hitting the concrete floor causing it to echo threw the room. "You can only rule for so long alone darling" She haults, her face dropping from the sad memory of her mother playing in her head. Her body moves to the direction of her father, placing herself in front of him "I-i understand, I'll do it........for you."
Her father's embrace covered her like a blanket, she buried her face into his chest taking in his comforting sent.
"Thank you." He whispers
