All She Needs Is Empathy

Chapter 2

Beck's POV
I felt so guilty when that Martha girl came over. She just started flirting with me so Tori walked off. I saw a girl with brown hair and blue highlights in the hallway. I saw her with Tori as I walked through the door.

Me: Hey.
Jade: Yeah?

Me: Have you seen Tori?
Jade: Yeah
Me: Could you tell me where she is?
Jade: No because she seemed to be going away from you
Me: I know, but I just wanna apologize for Something that upset her. Please.
Jade: She went to Sikowitz's class
Me: Thanks (walks to class) Tori!
Tori: (turns around) yeah?
Me: I'm so sorry. I didn't even know who she was.
Tori: It's fine, Beck. (walks off)

Something is bothering her but I don't know what it is. Maybe I should give her time. I'll just try to talk to her tomorrow.

Tori's POV

I left because I didn't feel like I had the energy to talk to him anymore. My social battery was just low. School finally ended and I listened to music as I drew pictures of flowers when I got home, and 30 min later I got a call from Jade. She sounded sad. She asked me to go to her house, which I did because I needed to know what was wrong. I left the house and went to hers. I knocked on the door and no one answered. Did it like 3 times, still nothing. I heard crying and just got in. Jade was on the floor and she was in tears. I got down and gave her a big hug as I massaged her back, asking her what was wrong. She finally calmed down and told me.

Jade: Idk what is wrong with me. This is the third time this has happened this week. It has been like this since school started. I have just had a lot of depression. And I dunno how to stop it.

Me: Why didn't you tell me earlier. It helps to let these things out than have them bottled up inside. They could just pop and that is how people get a mental breakdown.

Jade: I know. Don't worry I'll tell you if it happens again.

I stayed to make sure she was okay. Then it was coming to 9 so I had to start leaving. I said bye and left. On my way home I was walking fast, scared that someone was following me. I walked fast and they did too and caught up to me. The person grabbed my arm and I froze.
