Tori's POV
I froze scared of how much danger I was on that moment. I got my senses back and turned around slowly. I was so relieved to see it was Beck.
Me: oh you scared me
Beck: sorry
Me: it's fine. So what are you doing scaring teenage girls at this time?
Beck: just wanted to know if you are still upset about school. When I saw you, I thought it'd be a faster way of getting to know so.
Tori: I told you it is fine
Beck: Yeah, but girls don't really mean that when they say it.
Tori: well this time I do.
Beck: then you wouldn't mind if I walked you back to your house?
Tori: No not at all. Kinda scared to go alone anyway.
As we walked we also talked getting to know each other better. It was easier talking to him than it usually is with others because instead of small talk, we had a deep conversation.
Beck: So... who are you really?
Me: excuse me?
Beck: Like who is the girl behind the mask she shows the whole world?
Me: It is not really me wearing a mask, but people assuming things about me.
Beck: like?
Me: Well one am quiet though others think of me as shy. Sometimes I won't talk because I simply have nothing to say. I have few friends, not because I am not good at making them, but simply because when it comes to friendship, I simply prefer quality than quantity. Just careful about who I let into my life.
Beck: Okay. And what are some of the things that bother you every day?
Me: Umm. Sometimes I wish my friends would understand me. Because when they need someone to talk to, I will be that someone. But if the situation is reversed and I bring up a topic about something am struggling, they'll just maybe change the subject.
Beck: Maybe I can be your shoulder to cry on. Just come to me if you wanna talk about anything.
Me: (smiles)
Beck's POV
She has such a cute smile. She told me we had reached her house. She thanked me for listening to her. And for walking with her home. We said our good byes and I left.
Think am making a new friend. Wow first day to a new school turned out better than I thought it would.
