Draco woke up with warm arms wrapped around him, breath tickling the back of his neck. He rolled over slightly, craning his neck to look at the beauty behind him. Harry's hair, as usual, was a complete mess, maybe even more so than normal. He had a bit of drool running down his cheek, and his mouth was open, but he looked beautiful. Draco smiled, leaning down to plant a quick kiss on Harry's head before quietly crawling out of bed, walking into the bathroom. He stripped off his shirt, looking in the mirror. He squinted slightly, confused by what he saw. He looked down, lightly rubbing his hand over the swirling ink. It wasn't a pattern, but looked as though there was swirling smoke, ink, just beneath the surface, right over his heart. It moved languidly, swirling without purpose. It stood out, stark against his pale skin. He watched it with wide, frightened eyes. It hadn't been there before. He quickly pulled on his robes, hurrying out of the room to visit professor Snape.

"So.. What is it?" Draco asked, looking up at Snape's puzzled face. The old man waved a hand, brushing off his question before abruptly over to the bookshelf, pulling out a old looking book and skimming through it, before stopping to read over a passage again. Draco watched as the color slowly drained from his face.

"It means you have a soulmate."

Harry woke up to a cold bed. He rolled over, looking through the door to empty bathroom. He sighed, getting up and heading to the shower. He stepped into the warm water, annoyed that Draco wasn't there when he woke up. He scrubbed at his hair, grabbing some shampoo, he massaged it into his hair.

"Shit!" He yelled as shampoo dripped into his eye. He squeezed his eyes shut, stepping into the stream of water, attempting to wash the soap out of his eyes. He quickly washed his body and ashes the shampoo out of his hair as best he could, before stepping out of the shower. He reached for a towel, pressing it against his face.

"Harry?" He froze, waiting for a sound. "Harry, are you in here?" He hadn't locked the bathroom door.

"I'm in the bathroom, don't come in!" He yelled, quickly wrapping the towel around his waist. He opened the door, walking out to meet Draco.

"Damn." Harry rolled his eyes at Draco as he walked over to his wardrobe.

"And where were you this morning?" He asked, his voice filled with hidden meaning. Draco winced at the cold tone.

"I had to discuss something with professor Snape. But I'm here now." He said, walking over and wrapping his arms around Harry's waist, placing light kisses to his back. Harry sucked in a breath as Draco reached around to the front of his towel, starting to undo it.

"Draco, wait." Harry felt the boys hands still at his waist. "Could we wait? I don't have that much, er.. experience.. with these things." He heard Draco let out a sigh, worried he had upset him, before he felt the hands on his hips spin him around.

"Harry, I don't care what pace we go at. I'm just happy I have you." He said, pecking Harry's nose as the younger boy blushed.

"Well, I'm happy I have you too." He smiled, before giving Draco a smirk. "But can I get dressed now?" He asked, causing Draco's cheeks to turn scarlet.

"Right, right, sorry." He mumbled, turning away to allow Harry to dress. Once he received the okay, he turned around to help Harry with his tie. "You're tie is always such a mess, you know that?" He laughed as Harry frowned.

"Don't be a prick." He reprimanded, but let out a chuckle all the same. "Now come on, we need to hurry if we want to get breakfast." And with that, they left their room.

Dumbledore watched as the two boys entered the great hall. He saw them smile at each other before parting ways. Looking to the end of the table, he noticed Snape watching them as well. They both knew the arrangement the boys had, and both knew what would come of it. They wanted the boys to be happy, but the consequences of their relationship becoming public were great. Yes, it was certain that these too would need to be closely monitored.

Further down the table, Umbridge watched over the students with a dissatisfied look on her face. Everyone was too happy, especially that Potter boy. Probably happy that the rumors he was spreading about he who must not be named were gaining ground, a support system throughout Hogwarts. Something would have to be done, and it would have to be done quick.

Ginny watched as the boy glanced across the hall, making eye contact with the blond. She watched as he sipped his pumpkin juice with a slight smile on his face, before returning to conversation with the bushy haired girl. Something was happening here at Hogwarts, and Ginny Weasley, was going to figure out what.

Wow, it's been a long time. Well, here's a chapter. It's short, and it's shitty, but it's here. Happy to announce, I only have around four more weeks of school left, and after that updates should definitely pick up, but until then, I wouldn't expect to see another update. Sorry, but yea. This story will continue, but slowly for at least a month. I hope you guys are doing great, and this chapter was dedicated to all of the people mentioned in the previous chapter. Go you guys.
Love ya,
-J :)
