Hermione watched Ginny from across the table, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration. Ginny was eating ham and eggs, which should seem pretty normal, right? Wrong. Hermione knew for a fact that Ginny felt very strongly that ham was not a breakfast food, and she hated eggs. She watched as Ginny scooped another bite into her mouth, no emotion showing on her face. Maybe it was because she had been obliviated, Hermione thought, but then again, something seemed off. She shrugged her shoulders, digging into her own food. Whatever it was, it was a problem for another day.

Draco walked the halls, it was quiet and peaceful. He told professor McGonagall that he needed to use the lavatory, but in reality he just needed some time to think to himself. Everything with Harry had been going really well, and Draco finally felt... complete. Harry really, truly, made him happy, something he has never been able to actually say. Draco sighed in contentment, turning another corner. He stopped when he heard a noise from the broom closet down the hall. He walked a bit closer, hesitantly opening the door. His eyes widened as an arm reached out and yanked him inside, the door swinging closed behind him.

Harry sat in bed, watching the door. Every few minutes his eyes would flicker over to the clock on the wall, just trying to reassure himself that it wasn't that late. But it was. It was two in the morning, and Draco still hadn't come back. He sighed, rolling over and finally laying down, curling up into himself. Something was wrong, he knew Draco. He wouldn't just not show up, without any explanation. He was too good for that. Harry wondered if he had done something wrong. He couldn't think of anything... But then again, they had been taking things pretty slow, at Harry's request. But that wouldn't be a reason he just wouldn't come home, would it? Harry tried to convince himself that no, there had to be another reason. But as the minutes ticked by, and the time neared four in the morning, he gave up. Draco wasn't coming home tonight.

Harry sat up suddenly in bed, reaching over into a drawer in his nightstand. He pulled out the Marauder's map, opening it and quickly whispering, "I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good." He watched as the ink swirled across the worn parchment, opening it and scanning for Draco's name among the web of footprints. His eyebrows furrowed, a confused look adorning his face. He couldn't find Draco, anywhere on the map. He scanned again, before giving up. Maybe he was just too tired. He placed the map back in his drawer, turning off the light and rolling over. He hoped to get in at least a few good hours of sleep before classes in the morning. He closed his eyes, finally falling asleep, with his arm stretched over the spot where Draco should be.

Harry woke up in the same position, still alone in their double bed. He sighed, trying to forget the heavy feeling in his chest as he headed to the shower, stopping in his tracks to look at the shower. The floor was wet, the mirror still slightly fogged, and a damp towel hung on the back of the door. Draco had been there. He had been there, he had showered, he had gotten dressed, and left. All without even bothering to wake Harry, and explain where the hell he was last night. Harry showered quickly, angrily dressing and heading down to the great hall, slamming the portrait behind him.

He walked through the doors, eyes scanning the hall for his platinum blond, bimbo of a boyfriend's head. He spotted him, chatting with Pansy at the Slytherin table. Harry watched as she looked up at him, leaning in to whisper something to Draco, before his silver eyes met Harry's. Harry felt relief, for a brief moment, before a nasty scowl spread across Draco's face, glaring at Harry before going back to his conversation with a now very confused Parkinson. Harry glared at the boy, turning to head to the Gryffindor table. He plopped down next to Hermione, grabbing himself some eggs and toast.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked, watching as he stabbed his food with a bit too much force.

"Nothing 'mione. Forget it." He said, averting his eyes to his plate. "Didn't sleep well."

"Harry," she scolded, "You have got to get more sleep! You are going to fall behind, and then you won't be able to play quidditch." He rolled his eyes, nodding along with her in the hopes of ending her rant sooner. He half listened as she listed the benefits of getting more sleep, but his attention was focused back to the blond. He and Pansy were getting up to leave, and he headed straight out the door, without a look back. He looked back at his plate, before shoving it away. He was too sick to his stomach to eat. He looked down the table as Ginny got up, walking past them to follow in the direction the blond had gone. He was pulled out of his thoughts by Hermione's questioning.

"Harry, are you even listening to me?"

"What, yea. Sorry, Hermione. I gotta go, I'm gonna be late for potions. I'll talk to you later, yea?" He asked, apologetically. She sighed, nodding. He gave her a quick smile, hurrying to follow after the boy. He stopped for a moment, before looking at the clock. He really would be late to potions if he didn't head back to his room and grab his stuff, and even then he would have to be quick. Cursing, he turned, heading in the opposite direction of his initial target. Draco could wait, he would confront him after class. With that thought in his mind, he raced up the stairs to collect his books, fearing another detention from Snape.

*A/N PLEASE READ*
Wow that was a hella long hiatus from this book. I really just didn't feel like writing, and I needed to figure out where I wanted this story to go. But look at this, I'm back. I probably won't update regularly at all cause I suck but I figured I should probably start updating quicker anyways. I really love all of you and the response this book has gotten has been amazing. We are at like 30k reads, that's really awesome. I also thought that in honor of that, if you guys want, we could do an author Q&A ?¿ Just an idea. Anyways, this chapter is unedited and probably sucks cause it's late where I live and I'm tired but it's a chapter so oh well. I hold you like it, don't forget to vote, comment, and follow meeeee :) love you all
