Kendrix

Chapter 1: Awakening

This story begins in the year 2037 Kendrix is 15 years old and today is his first day at a new high school.
Christina: Kendrix! Wake up it's time for school!
Kendrix: *yawn* Yeah, I'm up!
Kendrix gets out of bed, puts his clothes on, and heads downstairs.
Christina: I made pancakes.
Kendrix: Thanks, mom.
Kendrix eats his food but then notices that the bus is outside. He tries to run and get to it on time but he's too late.
Kendrix: Dammit!
Christina: I can drive you.
Kendrix: No, you got work. I'll just walk.
Kendrix grabs his book bag and starts walking to school. When he gets closer he meets this boy.
Kendrix: Oh, hi! Who are you?
???: The name is King. And you are?
Kendrix: My name is Tripple C Kendrix, but everyone just calls me Kendrix. Are you also walking to Tokyo High?
King: Yeah.
Kendrix: Do you want to walk together, I kind of don't know where I'm going.
He scratches the back of his head.
King: Then where the fuck was you walking to?!
Kendrix: Uh, I don't know.
King: Let's just go.
Kendrix and King are walking for 5 minutes.
King: This is getting boring!
King grabs Kendrix and teleports to the school.
Kendrix: Wha... What the fuck was that?!
King: Teleportation. Have you never experienced it?
Kendrix: No! I have never experienced it!
King: Well, from analyzation of your fucking soul, yo dumbass ain't human. Well, at least not fully human.
Kendrix: You must be joking. Right?
King: Nope, but see you after school.
Kendrix: Is he just going to...
King then walks inside.
Kendrix: Leave me after saying that.
Kendrix follows King inside but he is met by the school bully.
??: Look who I found didn't know I'd be in the same school as the faggot!
Kendrix: Chad, I'm not trying to get into anything I'm kind of busy.
Kendrix starts to walk away but is pulled by Chad and pinned to the wall.
Kendrix: The fuck?!
Chad: Now, who do you think you are talking to?!
Kendrix: I mean, I was talking to you, ain't no one else in my site.
Chad: Oh, are you trying to be a smart ass?!
Kendrix: No, it's just I have a level 10 intelligence. So I am one of the smartest people in you know, the world.
Chad: Oh, now you've done it!
Kendrix: I honestly didn't do anything.
Chad starts beating Kendrix.
*King in the Background*
King: (Come on idiot, unlock your abilities. Yo dumbass getting beat by this weakling.)
*Back to Chad and Kendrix*
Chad: Come on smart-ass, do something!
As Kendrix is getting beaten on something clicks in his brain, his anger is over-fueling, and right before Chad does his next punch Kendrix's arms light on fire in a purple flame causing Chad to drop him.
Chad: What the...
King: Now it's time for me to step in.
King walks up and side-punches Chad knocking him threw the wall he then touches Kendrix.
King: Damn, that fire is kind of hot!
Kendrix: What is happening to me?!
King: Well we're about to go see.
King teleports him and Kendrix.
Kendrix: Where are we?
King: My house.
King goes to lie on his couch.
Kendrix: Okay, now can you explain this?
Kendrix shows his arms that are still on fire.
King: Oh, right.
King palms Kendrix in the chest and his flames stop he then goes and gets a bag of chips from his cabinet.
Kendrix: What did you just do?
King: Oh, I fixed your powers.
Kendrix: First, powers? Second, how?
King: I mean what else would you call what you just did? Now how I fixed it was by linking your soul and your mind giving you knowledge on how to control your powers.
Kendrix: What exactly are my powers?
King: Now that I don't know. Your race is something I haven't heard of or seen before.
Kendrix: I didn't even know I was any other race but human.
King: Well you need to go question who's ever at home.
Kendrix: My mom doesn't get home for a bit so...
King: Yeah, you can stay here till she gets home.
*Later that day*
Kendrix: I don't feel like walking. So can you teleport me?
King: Fine.
King snaps his fingers and Kendrix is teleported to his house.
Kendrix: Mom!
Christina: Yeah?
Kendrix: I got a question for you.
Christina: What is it?
Kendrix lights his hand on fire with his purple flames.
Kendrix: The fuck is this?!
Christina: Oh, I knew this day would come.
She goes into her secret drawer and pulls a book out of it.
Christina: It's time for me to tell you about your father, you might want to sit down.
Kendrix sits down next to Christina.
Christina: It happens way back 15 years ago when you were just born.
*15 years ago*
Kane (Kendrix's Father): Oh, my son.
Christina: He looks just like you.
Kane then notices a birthmark appear on Kendrix's back in the shape of a dragon.
Kane: It can't be?!
Christina: What?
Kane: I thought it was just a myth.
Christina: What?!
Kane: Kendrix is the Celestial Dragon.
*Present time*
Kendrix: What's the Celestial Dragon?
Christina: As much as your father told me. The Celestial Dragon is a being who is half Celestial and destined to eradicate/takeover the Celestial Race. Also, the Celestial Dragon is said to not be bound by the genetic rules of a Full Celestial, the Celestial Dragon can have any ability they want.
Kendrix: So what your saying is?
Christina: Your power is said to be infinite.
Kendrix: How do I get this power?
Christina: As far as I know training.
Kendrix: Okay that makes sense. But what happened to Dad?
Christina: Well one day when we were walking in the Park a portal opened up and he was sucked in that was the last I saw him.
Kendrix stands up.
Kendrix: Well thank you Mom for the information, I will go see about something now.
Kendrix walks outside and is greeted by King.
Kendrix: Were you listening to us the whole time?
King: Yep.
Kendrix: Why?
King: That's not important what is important is what you came out here to ask me.
Kendrix: How did you?
King: That's not important, now ask.
Kendrix: Can you train me?
King: Sure.
King teleports both of them to a training area.
Kendrix: What are we doing here?
King: We finna box.
Kendrix: Huh?!
