Chapter 2: Training

King: First, get into a fighting stance.
Kendrix: I don't know how to fight the most I've done was boxing and some Karate when I was 8.
King: Okay and! Put yo hands up!
Kendrix: Okay!
They both get into fighting stances.
King: Now let's see what type of powers you got.
Kendrix: Wait, what do you mean by that?
King smirks and speeds forward; he starts punching and kicking at Kendrix which sends him flying into a wall and crashing through it. Kendrix then gets back up.
King: Enhanced durability, check. Now blast flames at me.
Kendrix: Hmm I need a name for this.
King: You really don't.
Kendrix thinks for a second.
Kendrix: I got it, Celestial Flame!
A big burst of purple flames comes from out of his arms burning some of his shirt off and hitting King who tanks the shot.
King: Okay, that's good let's see about any more powers.
He speeds forward and uppercuts Kendrix in the air sending him flying. Kendrix then starts tumbling down.
Kendrix: AHH!!
King: *yelling* Start flying!
Kendrix: *yelling* I don't know how!
King: Uh! First, take a couple of breaths!
Kendrix starts taking big breaths.
King: Now, feel the wind, the air around you. Pretend that your body is the same as that air and that you can freely move through it. Believe that you can and it will happen.
Kendrix starts thinking making his body just like the air around him and right before he hits the ground he starts flying.
Kendrix: Wow!
King: Yep, now follow me.
King bursts into the air and Kendrix follows.
Kendrix: WOO!! YEAH!!
King: Now this is a good stopping point, I kind of see how your abilities work now.
Kendrix: And how is that?
King: Your abilities will develop if you basically let them if you can think about something and put your mind to it you can do it. Now that doesn't mean you will know how to use them from the beginning it'll just mean you will be able to use them.
Kendrix: So I'll still need training.
King: Yeah, so what do you want to do with your powers?
Kendrix: I want to be a hero.
King: For real? Well, I'll follow you I don't think they'd have a problem with an ex assassin being a hero.
Kendrix: Wait, what?
King: I didn't stutter.
Kendrix: Well, okay then well I'm a go register to be a hero.
King: No, no that's not how you should do it.
Kendrix: So, what do I do?
King: Just wait this city is full of crime.
*Late at night*
Kendrix: I'm tired!
King: Just wait.
They both hear an explosion.
King: Told you. Let's go!
Kendrix: That's all the way over there in the city and I can't fly that fast yet. The thing would probably be over by the time we get there.
King: Uh, stop your complaining just teleport.
Kendrix: You say that like I know how to do it!
King: Just think about the place you want to be then just be there.
Kendrix starts thinking of the place and he disappears.
King: Now that's what I'm talking about.
He snaps his fingers and teleports. They both appear in the area.
Bosha: I got the money!
Kendrix: Stop right there villain!
Bosha: And who are you two?
Kendrix: I am Kendrix, that's King.
King: Don't be telling my business!
Kendrix: Sorry.
Bosha speeds forward and puts his hand
to Kendrix's chest.
Bosha: Bang!
A giant explosion comes out of his hand sending Kendrix flying.
Kendrix: Got dang that hurt!
Bosha: Did you just tank a bomb as strong as a tank?
Kendrix: I guess, um King I still don't know how to fight a little help here.
King spawns a lawn chair and a drink he then sits down.
King: Naw, you got this.
Kendrix: Bruv!
Before he knows it Kendrix is getting blasted on by Bosha.
Bosha: What are you, kid? You are casually tanking bombs as strong as tanks!
Kendrix: That's nun ya.
He puts his palm forward and it starts lighting on fire in a purple flame.
Kendrix: Celestial Flame: Burst!
A big burst of purple flames engulfs Bosha burning him.
Bosha: AHH IT HURTS, IT BURNS!
His body starts decaying and turns to ash.
King: Wow! You just killed that man.
Kendrix: I didn't mean to!
King: It's good heroes kill villains all the time.
Kendrix: But how do we know he deserved to be killed?
King: That's not your problem let's go.
Kendrix: Wait, how would people know we did this?
King: Oh, there's like multiple cameras around this place.
Kendrix: Wait, what?
King: Yeah.
He points to multiple cameras around the area.
Kendrix: Well I'll be damned.
King: Well, let's go.
He snaps his fingers teleporting them back to his house.
