I didn't know that my life was going to turn upside down in only one day.
I was only 16 years old when I decided to take a day off. My life at school was not-so-perfect, but I still had to learn. On the other hand, my life at home was the complete opposite. I was an assassin, I was training to be one of the dangerous assassins. My best friend, Sofia, was the one of the perfect people in my life.
"Mom!!" I said, screaming, while coming out of the room.
"Cosa, caro"(what, dear), said Mom.
"Can I take a day off?" I said, whining.
"può essere"(maybe) said mom.
"vado a conoscere papà"(I'm going to meet dad) I said, happily leaving.
I had left the kitchen, making my way to my father's office, who is the don of the Romano Mafia. I had reached my father's office and stood there. Little did I know, I was going to get the most shocking news of my life.
"hai trovato mia figlia?"(Did you find my daughter?) Father said.
I had overheard the whole conversation and I stood there in shock, and then I ran into my room, repeating those words in my head over and over again.......
What was he talking about? Did I have a sister?
