From where they were sitted it was pretty hard to get a good view on what they were doing but from the looks of it seems that they were planing something.
"Yeah Ray! Could you stop being a lil annoying b*tch and leave those chick's be", A boy yelled causing the others to burst out laughing at their obvious but quiet funny joke.
I recognized the boy that joked as Christopher James also year twelve and the quarterback in the team.
" Well ladies, it was wonderful chatting with you but I must be going ", He leaned forward taking Jule's hand and then lightly kissed her knuckles while giving her his signature wink for the second time that evening before heading towards his table.
While they headed out the cafe, in a split moment I locked eyes with Ace which in return he gave me a half genuine smile and walked out.
"Could you stopped blushing already", I rolled my eyes and nudged Jules on the shoulder. Jules like me is an extrovert at heart but never have I ever seen her crush or looked at a male in a different light and this was my first to see her that way.

to Ace Scott, every girls dream bad boy, football captain, a high achiever and my former Crush.
Creeping silently through the house that night and into my bedroom, I jumped into bed eagerly and fell into a deep slumber.

Waking up in the morning looking like a
Zombie and I scurried off and into the shower to have a bath. It's not like my mom's a bad person but sometimes I like to think she has you-know, problems I guess and I like to be optimistic to avoid having to deal with shitty emotions that isn't necessarily good for my health.
As I slowly and lazily made my way downstairs, I took out my phone and tried calling Liam.
"Hey Li, I'm sorry I didn't call yesterday but call me when you get this", I ended up sending a voice message instead.
When I arrived in the kitchen the sight was just plain disgusting. There dirty plates from some of her unknown visitors last night during my absence I guess. Last night's food food scraps still lying around plus this mornings own mess, the garbage wasn't even taken out and apparently the place was a huge disaster.
"Your going to clean every bit of this and the whole house along with it and there's also laundry downstairs, make sure to finish off before I even set foot on the front yard, ok?", It was more of a threatening order.
"But mom I taught it was only the laundry".
"Well you taught wrong and you no longer have your damned father here to side with you so just shut up! ," She yelled into my face.
The thick stench of alcohol sipping through her voice and into my face causing me to choke on my own saliva.
"Sure", I inhaled loudly in defeat.
"Now that's the spirit so get to it", She stated sharply while adding extra eyeliner to her eyes using her phone camera to see her reflection.
The moment she stepped out of the house only then had I finally found peace. Calming myself from running after her and saying my.mind out , I simply went and started with my things to- do -the whole day.

15 minutes later......
"Cami I saw your missed calls are you okay?" Liam asked with concern.
Sensing that arguing with him about my situation with was yet unknown to him would be pointless, I decided to change the topic.
"Everything's fine, I'm just a little down with flue", I lied smoothly," Besides you weren't even picking up, Is it because you were in the middle of something? ",I added with a mocking tone and giggled at his silence.
"Ahuh! Caught you!", By this time I was rolling around on the kitchen floor bursting with laughter and by the way, just to let you know the kitchen is already cleaned. I am a pretty good multi-tasked person. I cleaned it within 15 minutes.
"Yeah whatever, now back to the previous topic ," He knew, he always knows when I'm trying or about to change a topic of convo. I had quite a feeling he rolled his eyes over my attempt on the other side.
Avoiding his demand completely I went on teasing him.
"So is it with Laura or that Tiffany girl?! ".
"No–"
Must be so good that you even forgot about your own best friend." I failed an attempt on making a sexy husky voice when saying it and that made me giggle harder.
"No neve–"
"Nooo?, so it's not just good it's also extremely and wonderfully steamy and good that-"
"Would you just shut up! And listen", He cut me off causing to flinch from his angry voice, the latter however was softer than a breeze and atleast that was a bit reassuring to me that he wasn't that pissed but then who cares his my best friend what's he going to do to stop me from torturing him.
"There's nothing going on between me and Tilly or especially Larren", He had this stupid habit of forgetting the names of his one- night flings.
"Okay , okay I get it just chill buddy!, I'd love to give you therapy on why your being such a meanie this morning but sadly I'm at home".
"You could come you know", He sighed with longing?,"I'd give anything to have a therapist as smart and beautiful like you", He added teasingly.
"Charmed!",
"No kidding, I'm serious ", Again he added and to lighten up the awkward feeling I had I laughed his at his comment.
"Anyways, I've got chores-"
"What?!", He almost yelled with concern dripping from his voice.
"Nothing, love you and bye", I hung up on him quickly.
Before putting my phone on silent mode I texted Jules and asked her to bring today's notes that I'd most likely miss out on over. Being a student of straight As , I'm one of those student who could hang with the popular cheer leader girls who are by the way in my own perspective are b×tchy air heads without being called one and talk to nerds without being one.
"Sure thing babe", she replied back immediately.
Smiling I placed my phone and started for the laundry room to get the monstrous heap done and over with.
