*art not mine!!* On a normal day at the Sakuragi Institute, the two main characters start to develop feelings for each other. Now it's just a matter of waiting until they find out about each other.
After taking a deep breath, Gou was ready. "Ditto! Retaliate with Thunderbolt!" he shouted, the shakiness in his voice fading away. A bolt of electricity shot towards the bird trio, and pushed them towards Team Rocket. As the 7 collided with each other, the electricity exploded and Team Rocket was launched into the sky. "Team Rocket blasts off again!" the Rocket trio cried in unison.
"S-Satoshi, we did it! We beat Team Rocket!" exclaimed Gou. "Yeah! And you did a really good job out there!" replied Satoshi, which resulted in a blushing Gou. "I didn't really do that well.." mumbled Gou. Originally, Gou was bashful, but when he began to think of Cinderace, his mood changed. "A-And.. Cinderace is still missing.. we didn't get anything productive done.." added Gou. "Stop being to pessimistic Gou!" huffed Satoshi. "We're never going to find him if we just sit here and worry!" Gou looked up in surprise. "I-" "Let's go find it!" Satoshi hurriedly grasped Gou's hand, and dragged him along.
(A/N: ok so idk where Ditto and pikachu go after this but just deal with it pls I don't wanna write filler sentences)
Satoshi's POV: Yes, I did it! Satoshi's hand-holding scheme was going swimmingly, yet both boys were flustered at the act. He glanced back at Gou, expecting him to still have a sullen look on his face, however, the brunette's face was as red as a rocket. Seeing this, he also flustered up and looked away from Gou's gaze. "L-Lets check over there!" he said hurriedly, pointing to a nearby canopy up ahead. "A-Ah, sure." The two pushed apart the branches and checked inside, but naturally, there was nothing in th- BAM! A grey squirrel-like pokemon scuttled out of the branches, frightened by the sudden exposition to the world.

"Aahh!" Both boys fell backwards, except one toppled over the other. Skwovet was long gone already, but to the two boys, the world had gone silent. Satoshi had fallen onto the ground, onto Gou (if that makes sense), and the two were facing each other, one hand interlocked. Satoshi and Gou exploded into flustered messes as they panicked and attempted to get up. "I-I'm sorry, I'll get off!" exclaimed Satoshi, but when he went to lift himself off, his hand slipped on the wet grass, and his face collided with- "Mmph!-"
