Metamon's POV:
She looked around the large, unknown city. It was dark, quiet, and the occasional murkrow was heard. "While you're out there, can you look for someone with brownish hair and gray clothes?" Aceburn's request echoed in her head, and she transformed into him. "Brownish hair and gray clothes.. got it.." she murmured to herself. She looked around for what seemed like hours, but no sign of the target. She looked up into the sky, it was dark already. She sighed, and was about to give up until.. sob sob ..huh? Metamon followed the noise and fought her way through the bushes. There she saw a girl crying, being comforted by a boy(I know it sounds weird but bear with me here). When she had a closer look, she saw the girl had brownish hair, and gray clothes. Relief and triumph surged through Metamon. She'd finally found her!
(Also, this takes place all the way back in part 1)
Team Rocket's POV:
Team Rocket had just arrived at base after eating out. "Nya, those snacks really filled me up!" remarked Nyarth. "Fuaah! I haven't had a meal this hearty in days!" added Kojiro. "That stupid little Morpeko keeps eating all our food! Atleast we can still eat out." Musashi opened the door, and saw that the cage had been burst open and only Aceburn had remained. "What the--" she spluttered. "What is it?" asked Kojiro, peering around the edge. "Nya, our pay raise is gone.." he muttered sadly. "Don't lose hope Nyarth, we still have the twerpette's pokemon!" Kojiro encouraged. "You're right!" Musashi agreed. They all examined the hole in the cage, and Kojiro put his eye close to it. Aceburn thrusted his foot through the hole, kicking and burning Kojiro in the face. "Aack!!!" he cried out, clutching at his eye. "Kojiro! Are you alright!?" cried Musashi. Kojiro lifted his eye and Team Rocket could see that it was burned. "You little.." muttered Kojiro.
AHAHAHHA CLIFFHANGER
Metamon's POV:
She looked closer and.. She'd finally found them! Metamon quickly transformed into Aceburn behind a bush, and scampered out and stood in front of the girl. When she looked up and saw Metamon, she leaped up from her seat, jumping out of Satoshi's arms and cried "Aceburn!!" Metamon froze and backed off, surprised by the sudden movement and shrank back into her natural form. The girl paused, and stared, eyes watering again. She slowly walked backwards and stumbled into her seat. "I thought it was.." Metamon immediately ran back towards her again, trying to comfort her.
"I-I'm sorry, did I do anything wrong!?" she spluttered. (By the way, Gou has no idea what she's saying). The pikachu on the boy's shoulder shook his head and jumped down from the shoulder. "He's currently.. going through something right know. It's not your fault." he told her. --and right now I'm JUST realizing that pikachu was just.. sitting there while the two of them were hugging and sobbing. Oops...-- "But he doesn't look like he is.." said Metamon, thinking Pikachu was talking about the black haired one (Satoshi). "What? No, I meant him." Pikachu pointed at Gou. "Wha- that's a guy!?" she exclaimed. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have assumed based on appearances.." Pikachu looked uncertain, as if he didn't know what to do. "You don't have to keep apologizing like that, you know." he told her.
Meanwhile..
Satoshi's POV:
"Pika pika, pikachu, pika pii!" "Metamon.. Metamon, Metamon!" "Piika...." "Metamon?! Mon, mon, Metamon!" "Pikachu, pika pika!"
Satoshi and Gou sat there confused, and Gou was still holding back tears. Satoshi decided to take action. He scooted next to Gou, and placed a hand on his back reassuringly. "I know you're disappointed, but I just know that Aceburn is safe." he said, trying to convince himself as well. Gou almost started crying again, but then..
"Prepare for trouble, it's not much of a chase!"
"And make it double, you've ruined my precious face!"
Team rocket hopped out of a bush, throwing their disguises into the air.
"To protect his face from devastation,"
"To unite our forces in aggravation!"
"To denounce the evils of flame and ash,"
"To numb the pain from this nasty gash!"
"Musashi!"
"Kojiro!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light,"
"Surrender now, or prepare to pay for my medical bill!"
"What?"
"Kojiro, that's.. not the catchphrase, Nya."
"SONANSUUUUUU!!"
"Team Rocket!?" cried Gou and Satoshi in unison. "What happened to his eye?" asked Satoshi, eyeing the burn on Kojiro's face.
