[terrys pov]

Terrance Silver's life wasn't perfect either. in fact, it was miserable. he didn't do anything else all day than staying in bed, drinking and smoking. it helped him to kind of stop all those bad memories, but it didn't last long. although there were some good memories too, like Adrielle Black.

Terry and Adrielle met in Vietnam. they were best friends. they used to do everything together. but after the war, after watching all their other friends die, Adrielle disappeared. Terry wasn't mad at her. he had complete understanding with her, but he was hurt. yes, they were best friends and that, but there was something else going on between them. right before he wanted to confess his feelings to her, their friends were killed, and all the bad stuff started. only one of their friends survived, John Kreese. they were good friends, but Terrys and Adrielles bond was much stronger. though after the war, after Adrielle vanished, Kreese was angry at her. he didn't have any empathy at all, and that drove Terry crazy. they got mad at each other, they fought multiple times (fight as in karate, not just insults) and then, Kreese vanished just like Adrielle, and Terry was all alone.

[12 YEARS LATER]

Terrys and Adrielles lives changed really much. and so did they. they both went to therapy, stopped drinking too much, and got their normal lives back.

Terry sighs after stepping out of his new home, a giant mansion. he's doing way better now, he can be happy now, he doesn't beat up his neighbors on holidays for lighting fireworks, and simple things don't trigger his PTSD anymore. but there's one thing that didn't change at all, all those thoughts of Adrielle Black. he still thinks of her too much. all the time he wonders what she's doing, if she's doing better, and where the hell she is. but so does she.

[adrielles pov]

Adrielle is laying on the sofa and reading a book while some stupid comedy show is on TV. she's more thriller/action movie type. the sounds of people laughing wouldn't distract her if she would just find the damn remote. "shut the HELL UP" she yells while unplugging the TV. "shit, the anger issues." she muttered to herself. sighing, she grabs her book and sits on the sofa again.

a few minutes later, she decided to go out for a walk. stepping out of her house, she almost passed out.

"hey, addie.."
