And I was right. Starscream had started a rivalry against Shockwave. He seemed to think that Shockwave was trying to take his place as Second in Command or something. Then again, Starscream had to earn his trust with Megatron through his actions while Shockwave just walked in and suddenly became the favorite without doing anything. If I were to describe the Decepticons as a family, Shockwave is the golden child, Starscream is the middle child who is usually forgotten about and Soundwave is the other golden child.
Me, I'm just the pet. But Starscream had an idea to become the favorite again. And that was to search for Autobots using the internet since Humans have cameras with them all the time. I'm just watching for the drama, to be honest. It's kind of entertaining. Starscream soon managed to find a picture of Ratchet so he told Megatron about it. But somehow it had been changed into a tap-dancing monkey. Well, that didn't work. Shockwave then asked if our Autobot prisoner, Wheeljack had anything better to offer than the internet.
Starscream argued that he had been grinding at Wheeljack for days now and, if he knew anything, he would have spilled the information by now. I pointed out that some people are better at keeping secrets than others. Me being an example. I have a few secrets that I haven't even told him yet. Then again, none of them would mean anything to him even if I did tell him. Not now, at least. Shockwave recommend using the Patch on Wheeljack to get the information faster than using torture methods.
Well, we let Shockwave perform the experiment but we got nothing. Wheeljack really did know nothing about where the others had gone. So, Starscream ordered Wheeljack to be terminated. But somehow Wheeljack managed to escape with ease. Megatron was obviously upset about this and Shockwave revealed that this wasn't the first time this had happened. Where's the popcorn when you need it? No one told me that this little rivalry would be so interesting.
But Starscream seemed to have a plan of his own. He had allowed Wheeljack to escape with a tracker that had been planted on him while Wheeljack was still unconscious. So now we have to watch, wait, and listen until Wheeljack reaches the others. But, a few hours later, we learned that Wheeljack found the tracker and blew up the troops that went to take them in.
"So not only did you fail to destroy the Autobots, but you allowed their number to increase! Is there no one who can bring me their heads?!" Megatron asked annoyed
"If I may, Lord Megatron. During my exile on Cybertron, I resumed work on a long-dormant project, one that I believe may provide a solution to our current problem," Shockwave said showing a formula of some kind on a screen
"Cyber-Nucleic Acid?" Knockout asked
"The building blocks of all Cybertronian life. This hails from a specimen I excavated upon our planet, and has yielded promising results."
"The Autobots continue to evade us. What makes you think we can afford to wait for the answer to our prayers to be birthed in some petri dish?" Starscream asked Shockwave
"You misunderstand. The subject has been fully cultivated, and need only be transported from my laboratory on Cybertron," Shockwave explained
"Then, by all means, activate the space bridge," Megatron said
From there, we waited for Shockwave to arrive back with his secret weapons. And I think it was worth the wait. Shockwave returned to us at Darkmount where he proudly presented the ultimate Autobot hunter. What emerged from the Spacebridge is something I have only heard of through human legends. It was a giant, Cybertronion Dragon! Practically everyone was terrified to see this creature. And I don't blame them. I mean, I feel like prey to this beast and we're not the same species!
"A Predacon," Starscream said revealing the name of this thing, "They've been extinct since the beginning of Cybertronian history."
"Indeed. But the specimen you see before you was bred in the laboratory, cloned from fossilized remains, which I discovered on Cybertron," Shockwave explained
"Shockwave, it does my spark good to see you once again tampering with creation," Megatron said walking towards it
"Master, please! Keep your distance!" Starscream advised
"No need for alarm. The Beast is completely under my control," Shockwave said
This thing is even bigger than Megatron! I'm surprised he isn't intimidated by this beast!
"Such primal magnificence," Megatron admired
"A sample of Energon, from Wheeljack," Shockwave said holding up the sample, "spilled during the Autobot's failed interrogation."
Shockwave held it up to the Predacon who just looked at it.
"Let the hunt begin," Megatron said
The Predacon started to go a bit berserk before flying off to find Wheeljack. But I think I've had enough drama for today. It's been fun but it's enough for me. I went to the Warship where I just entered Starscream's room and went to my little area. It really just had a bed, a place to store my food and water, and a little bed for Romeo. I put him there and I went to sleep myself. I would hear about the drama when I woke up again. The Predacon had gone missing while the Autobots attacked Darkmount.
As of now, we still don't know where. And the Autobots managed to blow up Darkmount so that's gone now. Though things got even more interesting as the days went by. Well, interesting for me because I got more Starscream VS. Shockwave drama. I'm taking too much pleasure in watching their little rivalry. Shockwave had found something hidden in a mine somewhere. Megatron sent Insecticons to go and retrieve it. Only one returned with a part of what they were sent to get. It was a Predacon bone. But why would that be on Earth? It seems a bit strange as they were like dinosaurs on Cybertron.
"On Earth?" I asked when it was explained and shown to me, Megatron, and Starscream
"I mean, isn't it just a little preposterous?" Starscream asked
"They are not the remains of Predacons, Starscream. But, rather, the remains of Predacon clones," Megatron explained, "For you see... our recent Autobot hunter wasn't the first bestial super-soldier Shockwave ever attempted to breed from prehistoric matter. During the war for Cybertron, I sanctioned the dispatch of a small army of these Preda-clones to Earth to unleash the beasts on unwitting Autobot forces stationed here. Once they accomplished their mission, the surviving Predacons held sentinel on this very world for ages to come, guarding the Energon reserves they had managed to secure while awaiting my arrival. Of course, our reunion here was much delayed, and it would seem we lost the beasts to the ravages of time."
"But not their endo-matter, from which I am logically able to extract their very CNA," Shockwave said
"Another scavenger hunt?" Starscream asked, "How logical would it really be to locate all the dusty remains of your former pets?"
"You are not suggesting that I would send my creations to a distant planet without first having them... micro-chipped?"
"Well-- Well, I was. But, seriously, you did?"
"It's only logical," I said to tease Starscream.
He growled at me. So, Shockwave managed to detect another bone and went to collect it. But I heard that he was under attack by the Autobots who managed to take the bone from him. Well, all but one fang. That's all he needed. Despite Shockwave doing well on the mission, Megatron advised him to stay in the Warships laboratory so he can focus on his research and stay out of harm's way. Can't wait to see what happens next.
