Chapter 2

Mayumi's P.O.V
I had yawned as that afternoon myself and my father took his soft tail Harley Davidson to the school so that we could go talk to Mephisto. As we arrived we noticed Mephisto outside with the students and I removed my helmet first then my father after the bike stopped; I smirked when Mephisto paled as we got off and I walked a step behind my father but close to his side.

"Atticus, Mayumi to what do I own the honour of your visit?" Mephisto spoke but I knew he was a little skeptical of our arrival especially around his students.

I saw the glared from a couple of them but easily ignored it. "Dad figured it was time for me to finish my education; I've learnt everything I can at home and need to be here to finish securing my ranking."

My father smirked. "That won't be a problem will it Faust?" He loved finding ways to spook Mephisto but he knew that Mephisto wouldn't say no to me.

I heard the girl with an attitude mumbling that I wouldn't be any good and I felt my two familiars that were in their tattoo forms on me move around. They didn't like the girl but I reassured them that she wasn't a threat; I looked towards Mephisto and my father before Mephisto smirked.

Mephisto playfully bowed as I shook my head smiling. "Of course brother; it would be a pleasure to have my niece join cram class. Perhaps she can show her peers how to stay in control of familiars, help with healing, sword work, and protecting."

"It would be a pleasure Uncle Faust; but surely they have been practicing those skills although from what they were just doing I would say the team work is pathetic." Hearing my father and uncle snicker under their breaths as I closed my eyes giving a slight shrug.

"Why you! You think you know everything when I doubt you even have a familiar."

"I have two familiars of which without a doubt are much stronger then yours and I'm already working on my third familiar; next time you want to speak out I would recommend that you bite your tongue." I looked to her with a slight sneer.

"My familiars are strong." She summoned them and I looked to the two fox spirits when they gave her attitude and I chuckled.

"Familiars do not give attitude to a trainer so long as the said trainer is strong enough to control your familiars." Seeing he put her's away.

Mephisto smirked when I had put the girl that I now knew was Izumi by a pink haired male saying her name. "Mayumi when don't you summon your newest familiar so long as he behaves."

"Faust you should know by now that her familiars are well trained and behave." He snapped his fingers so none of the class or himself and Mephisto would be bothered by my naga.

I smiled and shrugged my jacket off a little just enough to see that tattoo shift. "Will you please be a darling and come off Cole." The tattoo vanished as Cole came off in his naga form although if he desired he could have been in his snake form but with him like this he was more dangerous to anyone against me. "Calm down Cole; they pose no threat they will be the team we will work with while I finish school." Calming the naga as he wrapped around myself in a protective manner.

Rin looked shocked and I saw his twin brother Yukio along with Shura. I smiled as I knew the names of the students through Cole who had an ability to look into the minds of people. "This is my naga familiar Cole; he's been my familiar for the past six months. My other familiar is called Shadow you may get to meet him one day."

Bon looked amazed before he spoke up. "You said your working towards your next familiar I thought familiars come when their ready."

My father chuckled. "Her next familiar is a little stubborn; he's working her through her paces to prove herself worthy of being his master."

"How stubborn in stubborn?" Rin wondered as he was interested and he saw my father had multiple tattoo's.

I smirked and dropped the glamour I wore to hide my wounds and from the top of my right shoulder to the middle of my back was claw marks. "A little stubborn; I have to talk and prove I want to work in peace with him."

Bon's P.O.V
Bon had been ticked when their class was interrupted by a couple people on a motor bike but when he saw the girl he now knew as Mayumi remove her helmet he felt his heart skip a beat. She had the aura of a bad girl with the attitude; but he noticed the male with her was around six foot two and he walked with power and Mayumi had the same walk but both had grace.

When Mayumi had been granted permission without trying it ticked him off till he heard Faust say that she was his niece and he could believe it with the smirk she shared. But when she revealed her naga he had been more shocked as he knew the amount of control and power a person needed to control a naga had to be great.

He noticed that the naga had been as a tattoo on Mayumi which made him curious that he had to ask. "I've never seen anyone keep their familiars as tattoo's; doesn't that drain you both?"

Mayumi looked to his with her reddish purple coloured eyes. "Not really; when you allow a familiar to become a tattoo on you, your giving up privacy and energy so that in return they may grant you protection but use their own abilities to help you."

"She's right both Atticus and Mayumi are only two of the five in their family that have familiars. Come with me; you might as well come along as well Atticus you get to see the children scrap." Faust had spoken and Bon saw Mayumi and Atticus give little impish smirks to each other before they walked in.

Bon didn't know what to make of the duo but the power they gave off was enough to set Bon on edge. Bon saw Mayumi have her familiar turn to snake form as it rested around her shoulders and watching the group that he was curious.

"So how come you didn't come to school right away? I'm Ryūji but everyone calls me Bon." Bon politely introduced himself.

Mayumi smiled softly as she saw Bon catch up to her as her father was talking to Faust. "I was finishing my home schooling and some other things; it was Faust you gave the idea a couple years ago but I couldn't join anyone here quite yet. My family were not living close to the city and we were having some problems." Mayumi spoke and her sword was as a necklace on a silver chain.

"I think I can understand that; so Faust said there are five of You's all together that have familiars?"

"Yeah myself, my father and his three brothers which makes five of us but not all of us have our familiars as tattoo's it's dangerous for one of our own. His calling to his familiars is cool; he can just say their names and they appear when required."

"How many familiars does your father have?" Rin asked since he was listening as well.

Mayumi smiled softly. "Seventy-Two familiars but they don't have a bond like I do to mine; when I get my familiars we make a contract and when their in tattoo form that's the mark of our contract." She touched the snake on her neck with a soft smile on her face.
