The next morning I woke up with the little sleep I got. As usual, I woke up earlier than everyone else, freshened up into my black suit. I can't believe after the scene they saw and all that honesty they still think it's a bright idea to shove me in a room with that despicable little girl?! There's absolutely no way I would fall in love with a tomboy like her in one week, it will take years

"Look what she did to my dashing face" I whispered to myself

I stared at the mirror, I stared at my lips, I only kissed her out of pity. I'm perfect am I not? Thats what kind perfect people do! That's why I kissed her. Why couldn't that girl see it too? Oh God, my face is full of bruises. I kept staring at the man in the mirror, with each passing second difficult to see. I took the mask next to my nightstand. I placed on my mask to hide my injuries caused by that brat. I walked through the halls and bumped into Perseus.

"You must be happy, now you get to woo over Princess Magnolia and win the bet" Perseus scowled

"Who are you again?" I asked

Perseus closed his fists, annoyed with me. Ah when he got annoyed the sun shined brighter and the bird sang louder, what a pleasant view of Perseus annoyed

"Don't act stupid Astennu" Perseus glared "You're 20"

"And you're 18, and I am Astennu crown prince" I smirked

"Will you shut up and listen," Perseus asked through gritted teeth

I shrugged and nodded, but before I could do that I decided to be pettier.

"You can stop blaming me for you not being attractive enough" I smirked

"So you were listening Astennu, I'm tired of you looking down on me, watch yourself and that pretty little wife of yours, I'll take everything from you," He said in a determined face

I stared at him with my poker face.

"Uh-huh, well you have fun with that" I shrugged not caring

I walked away from him and into the balcony to stare at the falling snow. It was only autumn but it felt like winter already. The Draven Empire was a cursed freezing hell. Once you get used to it, it doesn't become a bother living here. I went inside ready for breakfast.

"You're late"

Magnolia...

"Yes I am, you're very observant" I replied not caring

"Rude prick" Magnolia muttered

I smiled, are those red ribbons? cute. I sat down on the chair in front of her. We didn't speak and just ate. The maids standing there awkwardly. Magnolia stared out of the window watching the snowfall.

"Um... Prince Astennu? Would you like something else before we leave?" One of the maids asked

"No, you may leave" I replied

"Yes your majesty"

The maids took our plates and left us alone. This is the stupidest thing my parents have done. I have to spend my time with her, and I have no option. What would I even talk to her about? I was lost in my thoughts and didn't notice she was reading.

"What are you reading?" My words slipped

"Doesn't involve you" Magnolia replied

I glared at her.

"Are you serious? We're stuck here with each other might as well talk" I glared

"I rather die of boredom than talk to you" Magnolia replied
