Chapter 6- Spending Time with The Draven Prince

A/N: I apologize for the late chapter, most of the chapters might be late due to my school work. I apologize beforehand and enjoy! 

The next morning I headed to the same room where I was to have breakfast. I feel like a prisoner by the passing day. Astennu was already there drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

"Good morning," I said

"Good morning princess Magnolia" the maids greeted

"Ah, you're finally awake" Astennu smirked "Late by the way"

I sat down on my seat and began eating my cake.

"Aren't you the one who is always late?" I asked

"Not today" He smiled

"If you can stay quiet for this morning that will be lovely" I smirked

"Oh how I'd like to make you happy" Astennu grinned "Eat up"

I chuckled

"Yes because that's your priority, my happiness" I scoffed

"It could be if there was the slightest chance I liked you" Astennu smiled.

"You know I'm sure the maids are annoyed with your constant useless insults," I said

Astennu looked around and shrugged.

"Doubt it" He replied

I caught a glimpse of a maid staring too much at Astennu. Either she was tired of our constant bickering or is admiring his good looks.

"You may all go," said Astennu

"yes your highness" they all replied

The maids left us all alone.

"Better? Now you can insult me all you want" He said

"I don't have anything to tell you at the moment," I said

"Well then start eating Magnolia"

"Why are you so persistent with me eating?" I asked suspiciously "Did you poison it?"

Astennu crossed his arms.

"If I wanted you dead you would be 7 feet under not having breakfast with me" He scoffed

"Then? What's with you pressuring me?" I asked annoyed at his reply

Astennu groaned and stood up walking up to me.

"I'm pressuring you to eat so you won't weaken, I don't want to find you passed out for lack of nutrients," said Astennu cutting a small piece of my omelet with my fork

He kneeled and raised the fork.

"Unless you want to wake up and cuddle up with me?" He smiled fakely

I blushed as I imagined the scene, and took the fork.

"I am eating" I mumbled

Astennu stood up and sat back in his seat. I ate my breakfast and drank my orange juice.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I wiped my mouth

"A paper crane," said Astennu

Astennu handed the paper crane to me.

"You can have it, I'll go for a horse ride," said Astennu as he stood up

"I want to come too!" I said

"Do you know how to ride a horse?" Astennu asked

"Well... no... but I'm bored," I said

"Astennu? Magnolia?" Empress Cece called
