Rea's p.o.v

Books my only friends are books. And the characters in those books. My life sucks my dad runs his own prostitute ring and my mum is his top seller. My brothers are drug dealers and my whole family works at a strip club. I on the other hand work in the library with Miss Wareham, she is the sweetest little old lady ever to walk this earth.

Anyway me and Janey Wareham spend day in and day out sorting out the library making sure that everything is perfect. My favourite part of my day is when all the mums and their little ones come to have a sing song and to read a story normally its me or Janey who read but every other month this mystery man comes to read for them.

"Rea honey can you set the childrens area up for the parents. Oh and he's coming to read today so behave." Janey says wheeling the book trolley over to the shelf's. She's up to something I know her she's being sneeky. Oh well better get it set up don't want moaning people now do we. I go into the back cupboard and I grab the box's of pillow and musical instruments and I put house. all out neatly when that was done I went and got the story book that we always read from.

"Hello I'm looking for Rea do you know where she is?" A all but familiur voice fills my ears as I hear him asking Janey for me.

"Well Grith what are you doing here mum made it clear that I was never to go home or see you so I'd make it fast" I spat at him as I lean against a book shelf.
"Sis come home dad said sorry and we have changed" he says walking towards me.
"You have changed in a week I don't think so some how your all imbeciles if you think I'm coming back to your house. I am happy where I am now please kindly piss off." I spit roughly pushing him out the library. I'm so glad I moved out of that house I'm now living with Janey and her husband Benny they are letting me stay for free so I can save up for my own place.

The day went on as normal the handsome reader came to read for the children they loved him and so did Janey. He even stayed to help us move everything back. Actually he is still here he didn't want Janey to continue working because she fell s down the ladder and hurt her hip this is the 5th time she has fallen and I don't think the owner will let her back to work I mean she is 73 years old and she has been working her from the age of 23

"Rea I need to ask you something please come sit with me" James said smiling at me as we took a seat at one of the tables. While working with James today I have learnt that Janey is his aunt and he owns the library and half of the town we live in so I'm guessing she won't be back to work.
" I'm guessing that you know that Janey won't be coming back which means that I will need another person working her with you. It as obvious that you will become the manager of the library and the new person will be an assistant. " he says looking my in the eyes looking hopeful.
"Wow this is a huge change I mean I would love to be a manager of this place its an amazing thing." I sequel at him jumping in my sweet.
"For the time being you will have me here to help until I get someone new to join the team" he smiles laughing at my actions. That night me and James locked up and he dropped me off at his aunts house.

"Janey I'm so sorry that you fell I should have gone up there not you are you okay" I wishper to her as I sit down on the sofa
"Dear Rea I am very glad that my lovely nefew has given you the job and I now get my good years rest." She sighs looking lovingly at her husband who is holding her hand and smiling. They are so sweet the good this about this change is now I'm the manager I get 25 pound extra an hour, add that to the 25 pound I already get and that's nearly 400 pound a month I'm going to have a flat in no time.

"I'll be waiting for my invite as well my dear" Janey says smile at my confused face. Crazy lady time for bed.
"Right I'm off too bed night Janey you to Benny get some sleep remember what your like with out it" I say giving them a wink and walking off to my temporary room where I get undressed and lie down in my bed falling asleep to dreams of one lovely man.
