You freshed up a bit and Lev reassured you once again before you joined his family for diner. Alisa wasn't scary really outside of a little intimidating and his parents seemed sweet but now you were afraid of coming off as rude.

You sat down at a table between Lev and an empty seat. His mother instantly offered you a glass of wine and you nervously looked at Lev to get his approval before accepting.
"Relax зайчик, (aka bunny in Russian. I Google this take mercy on me) we wouldn't hurt you."
Levs father reassured you as well.

"зайчик?"
You questioned, struggling to say the word, as you looked over at Levs father with a curious look.

"It means Bunny. It's not wrong, you resemble a bunny surrounded by hawks"
Alisa joked as she raised her wine glass to you and sipped.

"Oh I'm sorry... just nervous."
You softly apologized, fiddling with your wine glass. This level of nervousness could only compare to your very first photo shoot.

"It's fine зайчик, we wouldn't bite."
Levs mother added as she smiled at you sweetly.

"We wouldn't lie, we were hoping you spoke Russian so Lev would be more inticed to learn it."
Levs Father joked, causing Lev to flush a bit.

"Dad... it's not that I don't want to... I don't have time."
Lev explained, embarrassed a bit.

"And if you had a cute Russian partner you'd be more inticed to learn it."
His father responded. You couldn't tell if they wished you were Russain... or that Lev was dating a Russain.

"Mom! Dad! Leave him alone. Diners here."
Alisa defend her brother as a person in a black outfit came out with a few silver tray. They explained the dish as they set the plates down then leaving.

You all thanked him before grabbing your utensils to started eating.

"Bunny! How did you meet my brother?"
Alisa excitedly ask, nearly leaning iver the table toward you.

"Aw well... just in town... he bumbed into me... literally "
You attempted to joke but you fumbled a bit as you spoke because of your nerves.

"I was out on the town with Yuka and spilt coffee l over their outfit."
Lev quickly added to your answer with his usaul goofy smile.

"Tsk tsk. You big oaf. Always unaware of your surrounding."
Levs mother clicked her tougne with a small smile on her face.

"Yeah well... it was a good thing."
Lev looked over at you breifly and placed his hand on your thigh under the table, his thumb making small circles.

"It was a very lucky day for me..."
You whispered to yourself.

"Well um... зайчик... we were wondering about how long you've been dating."
Levs father nervously asked, probally because of the tabloids.

Before you or Lev could respond Alisa jumped to your aid.
"We've told you guys to stop reading those trashy things! Trust Lev when he says something."
Alisa rolled her eyes as she shoved a bit of food into her mouth.

Levs father quieted down a bit, his eyes now on his food insted of you. You still answered the question simply because you felt the need to.
"We've only been dating a month give or take..."

His parents nodded together and there was a moment of silence before someone spoke again.
"About the start of your career?"
Levs mother quickly asked.

"Ah well I star-"
As soon as you reliezed what they had ment your face became aflame. Sometimes you forgot how your "Career started"

"Mom! Dad! You pervs!"
Alisa quickly came to your defense again.

"That... doesn't matter okay..."
Lev sighed, his head in his hands.

"What! It's a nice photo.... although... not my taste..."
Levs mom started, looking down at her plate as she spoke.

"I-i going to the washroom..."
You slolwy stood from your seat and straighted out your outfit before pushing in the chair.

"I'll show you where it is."
Alisa quickly stood and went to show you the way to the washroom. You followed her without hesitation, trying to calm yourself. She stopped in front of a door a few down from the dining room and turned to you with a frown.

"Im sorry about them... they are tradition and haven't learned a lot... hope you can forgive them."
Alisa sigh, his hand going to your face for a moment before she went to leave you. For a woman she was so tall and you felt a bit intimidated, although completly understood by her.

"T-thanks!"
You stuttered out to her as she left. She turned and waved her hand with a smile before continuing on her way.

You sat in the bathroom for a bit, refreshing yourself before finding the courage to go back. You had been humiliated before you even meet them. For the first time since that photo came out you wish it didn't exist... but without it would you even be here?

When you arrived back at the dining room it was compeltly silent as people ate. Alisa and Lev both gave you a small smile as you sat back down in your spot. The rest of diner was silent as well, all the questions had stopped. You definetly figured out some of what Lev ment when he talked about his parents....
