6. Phone number

THIRD-PERSON POV:

As Hoseok said, he visited sunghoon in the park every Friday.

Sometimes, Yoongi would come with his son or he sent his manager to take care of the sunghoon.
after 6 to 7 weeks of the visit, Sunghoon became close to Hoseok.

Yoongi allowed them to meet because it made Sunghoon happy.
his loneliness was vanished by Hoseok.

Yoongi was happy that his son has a friend and a person to talk with other than him.

sooner Hoseok also felt that his loneliness and longing for something unknown was reduced because of the cat man's son.

Also, hoseok shared his phone number with sunghoon's manager.

he waited for Yoongi to call him. he knows that he is too busy to call him.
but he has a hope that yoongi will call him.
(A/N: we know he is everyone's hope)

YOONGI POV:

our manager gave me hoseok's number. And I want to call him or text him but my introverted self
doesn't let me do that.

he doesn't have my number so I should take the first move.

should I call him or not?

my mind was confused as hell and another hell accompanied my mind.
It's none other than Namjoon's text.

he texted me to give some ideas but also teases me more.

"Hyung, text him something. then how can you confess to him?"

--Is he alright? how can I confess to him in the very first text?

"Who would confess at the very first text?"

"ok, then talk to him"

" I'm kinda nervous. what if
he doesn't respond to the text?"

"nothing happens Hyung. just say that you got his number and good night."

"Alright. will he recognize me? what if he ignores my text as I'm a stranger?"

"Just tell your name. and no more whats. I want to sleep.

Now I'm staring at his contact on my phone.
after a huge mental battle of yes or no, I finally started to type something.

HOSEOK POV:

after chatting with him and his friend Taehyung, I finally put my phone aside.

but something caught my eyes.

a notification ding arrived and I took my phone.

my heart skipped a beat as it was from Yoongi.
I couldn't believe that he sent me a message.

this is what Yoongi sent:

"hi, I'm Yoongi. I got your number from my manager.
thank you for visiting my son every week. he is happy that he has got a friend."

---Aaah so sweet, I thought.

then I started to type,

"It's alright. I'm happy that he is doing good."

"ok Hoseok, Good night."

---what? he already ended the chat.

"ok meow Hyung, good night and sweet dreams"
