Juliet's POV

"Let's look around, see what we can find." I suggested.

Frank and I searched the entire place but nothing seemed to stand out.

"'Kay, we've looked all over. I don't see any way out." I said.

I looked over to Frank, seeing him holding a piece of paper.

"It's a puzzle. Look at this." He said, placing the paper on the desk in front of us.

"'Please answer all questions at the same time.'" He said.

"The back." I said, turning the paper over.

There was a poem of some sort. Frank looked over my shoulder to see.

"'Look further than the time, to find the key to this rhyme. 3 and 3 make 5. Add 1 below, and a flat face will chime.'' I read out the poem.

"How do you get 3 and 3 to make 5?" I asked him.

"I don't know. We already did the math section of the test, and I'm pretty sure you graded higher than I did." He said.

"Okay, Hardy, so what's your non-math suggestion?" I asked him.

Frank sighed and then scratched his head, looking at the piece of paper.

"'Add 1 below, and a flat face will chime.'" Frank read out again.

I looked out and noticed the only thing that I knew could chime.

"The clock?" I asked him.

"'3 and 3 makes 5.'" I repeat, trying to understand where this all fits into place.

Frank opened the glass of the clock and stared at it.

"It's gotta be the hands, right?" Frank asked.

"Worth a shot." I said.

I reached up and moved the hands of the clock.

"Three, and five..." I said, moving the hands to the number.

"Add one below?" Frank asked after.

"Oh! Maybe it's the pendulum." I suggested.

"What?" He asked me.

"The pendulums have weights." I explained.

"Okay..." He trailed off, wondering where I was going with this.

"Watch." I instructed and I added one weight to it.

"Anything happen?" I asked him.

"No." He said and I sighed. I looked at my wristwatch and panicked.

"We only have five minutes left." I stressed.

"Yeah." Frank said, rubbing his face.

"Should we just break down the door with the clock?" He asked.

I stared at him to see if he was serious and he was. I laughed making him laugh too.

I looked back at the clock and sighed.

"Maybe we'll never figure this out. We can just forget Rosegrave. You can go back to Dixon City and I'll be trapped in the bakery forever." I rambled, not thinking.

"Puzzle, Jules." Frank brought me back on track.

"Right, sorry. Panicked." I chuckled and he smiled.

"Okay. Time." I grounded myself.

"Mm-hmm." He hummed.

"Time. It said look further than the time." I said.
