Juliet's POV

It was the next day at school, I had delivered Chet his cookies and he already had his talk with Callie, she didn't tell me what it was about since she wanted to tell me later when there was more time and fewer eavesdroppers. I was walking through the halls to my class with her when I noticed a familiar yellow and black plaid shirt.

Frank.

So this is where his locker is...

A smile grew on my face and I pointed him out to Callie. We both smiled and went up to him.

"Hey, city boy." I greet him and smirk. He looked up and saw me, a smile growing on his face.

"I thought I was officially a country boy, now that I'm attending school here." Frank teased back.

"If you can attend the Harvest Pumpkin Aura Festival, and successfully not roll your eyes, then you might be a contender." Callie said and I chuckled.

"I don't even want to know what that is." Frank chuckled.

"Wise decision." I said, chuckling too.

"So, where's Stacy?" Callie asked, looking around the hall.

"I don't know. I haven't seen her yet." Frank shrugged it off.

"Thought you guys would bond over the accident and being the new kids." Callie shrugged back.

"Well, I don't even like thinking about the accident." He commented, glancing at me. The smile on his face fell slightly.

"Hey...'My eyes! Oh my god!'" I suddenly said, hoping to cheer him up, which it did.

A laugh fell from his lip and his smile went back to the way it was.

"What just happened?" Callie asked me and I shook my head.

"Tell you later." I said.

"Anyway, Stacy seems nice. If not... a little odd." Callie said and both Frank and I chuckled.

"Right. Well, you used to feel that way about me." Frank teased us.

"We still do." I said and laughed.

He chuckled himself before closing his locker and putting on his backpack. He grabbed my hand and we started to walk down the hall with Callie.

"She seems cool so I'll give her a chance. I pulled her aside yesterday and told her that we were cool, she was so afraid of me." I said.

"Well, she did almost kill you." Callie chuckled.

"Yeah, that and it's kind of hard to start over somewhere new." Frank added and I nodded.

"I know. But if she's even half as resilient as you, she'll be just fine here." I said to Frank, smiling at him.

We had come to a stop, right in front of my class. Callie was just next door.

"Okay, this is my class. Where are you?" I asked, wondering what his schedule was today.

"I'm actually gonna go see Ms. Diaz. See if I can get her to talk to me. Wish me luck." He said.

"Good luck, Frankie. Let me know what happens." I said, squeezing his hand encouragingly before he walked off.

Callie said goodbye to me before walking the short length to her classroom. I walked into mine and sat in my seat.

The day was kinda rough, I didn't know anyone in my lunch block so I went to the library and ate there while reading, something I actually enjoyed. After that, it was back to class. Once the bell for the end of school rang, I grabbed my books and went toward my locker.
