Hi! am Y/n L/n, I was born in Hawkins Indiana, well I moved out but there's are a lot of reasons why I moved to Canada at 13 years old. But now am 15 and am moving back to Hawkins, am kinda scared, my mom told me I would go to the same high school as the backstabbers that were once my best friends. Let me tell you what happened

Two years ago I was part of this nerdy party, the people in it were: Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, Will Byers, and Dustin Henderson. They were my best friends I would lay D&D with them every Saturday night they were amazing friends..until the accident

"something's is coming. Something hungry for blood, a shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness it is almost here." Mike said

"What is it?" Will asked

"it's probably the Demogorgon," I said looking at Will with fear

"oh Jesus we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon," Dustin said

"It's not the Demogorgon," Lucas said while looking at all of us

"an army of troglodytes charges into the chamber!" Mike said

"Told ya," Lucas said while looking at me and they all chuckled

I smiled and glanced at Mike waiting for the Demogorgon to show up

"Wait a minute, did you hear that? That...that sound? boom..boom..BOOM!"Mike said

while slamming his hands on the table, I was confident of what was gonna show.

"that didn't come from the troglodytes. No, that... That came from something else"

Dustin, Lucas, and Will looked at each other while I just smiled.

"It's the Demogorgon!" Mike said while putting down the Demogorgon in the table

they all groaned while I looked at Lucas and said

"Told ya" He just looked at me and rolled his eyes. 

Then they all shouted at Will to make a move on the Demogorgon I just stood there silent looking at them, Will grabbed the dice and rolled it while saying "fireball" but the dice fell off the table we all stood up and looked for the dice.

Then we heard Mike's mom yell from up the stairs, I didn't hear what she said exactly but it was time to go in summary. So we all grabbed our stuff and went up the stairs and then Dustin asked about the pizza and we all said no and went quickly upstairs and got out to hop on our bikes

"there's something wrong with your sister Mike," Dustin said

"what are you talking about" Mike answered

"She's got a stick up her butt," Dustin said

"Yeah" Lucas agreed

"it's because she's been dating that dushbag Harrington" Lucas said

"Yeah, she's turned into a real jerk," Dustin said

We all got on our bikes and were about to go

"she used to be cool," Dustin said

"Like that time she dressed up as an elf for our Elder tree campaign," I said smiling at the thought we all peddle away while mike yelled, "four years ago!"

"good night, girlies," Lucas said while heading to his house

"some of us are girlies, Lucas," I said

"Race you guys back to my place? winner gets a comic" Dustin said looking at us

"any comic?" Will and I asked at the same time

"yeah" he replied we bother went faster to win

"Hey! i didn't say go! Get back here!"

"I'll take your x-men 134" Will yelled

we were both alone in an empty street beside a forest, then the light of both of our bikes cut out at the same time

"weird," I said looking at Will

"yeah" he answered

when we looked back to the street we saw a humanoid shadow in front of us, we both yelled and left control of our bikes. We then crashed in the forest and fell off our bikes, I was okay but Will got hurt in the knee I noticed and saw if he was okay

"Will are you okay? We need to go, that thing is following us!" I said while grabbing his hand to help him up

and then we ran as fast as we could to Will's house since it was nearby, we both arrived, Will got in and so did I he tried to tell me something but I put a finger over my lips to get him quite. We then looked for Joyce, Will's mom, and Jonathan his brother but we didn't find them. Will then grabbed my hand and pulled me throw the back door and into a shed, Will grabbed a gun and changed it ready to attack if something came, I was behind him really scared and almost crying.

We heard some noises like low growls outside but nothing else, he then lowered his weapon. The lights started flickering a lot it wasn't normal and I was terrified and hugged Will from behind. Then he disappeared out of nowhere. I started yelling his name and nothing, I came out of the shed to look for him but I didn't see him anywhere. 

I quickly ran to the house's phone but it was burned. I heard some more growls from the backdoor so I left the house and went to the police station. I told them everything, first, they didn't believe me, and second, they said we needed to wait a day to report a person missing. I walked through the door to go to my house, I couldn't do anything, I was so confused about where did he go? how did he get lost so easily

I opened the door and closed it behind me, there was a not in the fridge from my Mom

Hi, sweetie! I have to work late again till 4 am, I left some waffles in the freezer for you, I promise when I get the new job in Canada this won't happen again

I wasn't surprised to see the note, after all, this happened 4 times a week, I grabbed a cup of water and went up to my bedroom, I changed in to some pajamas and tried to go to sleep but couldn't I was filled with questions:

 what was that thing?

how did Will disappear just like that?

and why did the lights flicker like that in the shed?

I stayed up all night thinking and thinking but nothing, I even started doubting if it really happened.
