{Levi x reader} different world

So this was a dream I had and the reader was actually supposed to be mikasa but I don't even ship Levi and mikasa(no hate) so idk why I dreamt of this. Anyways this was a dream so it will most likely not make sense but bare with me!

This work was unknown world.
It was a big circle underground with no way in or out. The only light being made by lightbulbs wasn't the most soothing thought either.
It had two malls, a bunch of small houses, a few restaurants, a bank, a hospital and a forest.
No one knows what is behind that forest because it it blocked off with bricks so you can only go in a few steps.

Enough about the strange world your living in. As for you, you work at the bank with a certain someone named Levi. Levi was your childhood friend but you had grown a liking towards him. But unlucky for you he loved Petra, a girl that works at a clothing store in the mall. So having no one you accepted Eren's confession of love and he became your boyfriend. Eren was your childhood friend too so that's why you accepted his love for you so quickly.

~time skip to right now~

It was Christmas so it meant day off.
You went to your old wooden closet and picked out a red shirt and grey sweatpants.
You ran out the door and ran towards the mall before it closed because it was closing early due to the holidays.

You ran and opened the door panting but soon walked on to find a present for Levi before hanging out with him.
Before you left from work yesterday he had grabbed your arm making your turn to him. "Y/n your hanging out with me in Christmas got it" are the words you where left with before you nodded and walked on.

Your eyes landed on the big sign labeled 'pet store' in a faded green and blue.
Your eyes widened knowing a great prank so you walked into the store and quickly picked out a dog toy before paying and leaving to meet up with Levi.

The cashier had blonde messy longish hair and light blue eyes.
He flashed you a big smile after you payed and said in a slightly girlish voice "thank you I hope you come again" while waving. You smiled back, nodded and left the store and walked to the doors of the mall.

You pushed the doors open feeling the cold winter breeze even from underground.
You breathed out and saw your breath turn into white air and blew away making you smile in amazement.

You began walking to the bank where Levi told you to find him in front of.
You got there and waved to him with the plastic bag in your other hand.
"Hi levi" you exclaimed hugging him.

"H-hi y/n" he stuttered hugging you back awkwardly.
You let go of him and handed him the bag and told him to open it at home and that it was 'special' and 'fragile'.
"So where should we go?" You asked wanting to talk and spend time with Levi.
Levi thought but then shrugged his shoulders and said "where ever you would like to go". Your face lit up and you suggested in front of the forest.

"The forest always relaxes me" you smile at him walking in the direction of the relaxing forest.

"Y/n" Levi said quietly.
"Yeah?" You looked at his blushing face as he said "I love..."
You waited for him to say your name as your stared into his calming grey eyes.
"Petra so uh how do I ask her out" he finally said.
A part of you shattered but you stayed strong and said "just be yourself and tell her you love her". You force a smile and walked on seeing the forest almost in front of your eyes.

"YYYY/NNNNNN" You heard a familiar voice.
You looked over to see Eren waving both his hands and running towards you.
He picked you up and hugged you.
"Hahaha Eren put me down" you laughed at his actions.
He did but pulled you away from Levi and towards the forest.
"The forest is always calming so let's go togther" Eren exclaimed taking you in front of the forest.

Levi's pov:

'That damn brat took y/n from me, how irritating' I though walking away from them both.
Before I got to the edge of the small house in front of the forest the lights shut off.
I stopped in my tracks and didn't dare to move.
I tried looking in front of me but it was just pitch black.
I put my hands in front of my face and didn't even see them so I stayed still waiting for the lights to go back on.

"AAAGGHHHHHHH" I heard a males screamed followed by a females scream and then everyone started to panic and run away not knowing what's in front of them.
I turned to the screams and the lights turned on.
What I saw was truly gruesome.
It was Eren's body and his head was squished into the wall killing him.

My eyes widened at the thought that y/n was with him.
I realized I was too worried and started panicking.
I don't know why but I was thinking it was love.
I dropped the bag she had given me and ran to find her.
I searched for her thinking 'I have never felt this way about Petra so it can't be love'.
I thought again 'it won't be love'

I stopped at the bricks that blocked the rest of the forest off and stayed starring at her.
"Y-y/n" I stuttered dropping to the ground right in front of her.
Blood was flowing down her pale face and she was surrounded by a puddle of blood.
I hugged her close to me and growled "who the fuck did this to you?".

"I d-don't know" she said as she coughed up blood.
"Levi I won't be h-here with you l-longer but *cough* I l-love you" she said smiling.
"god dam it y/n I love you too but your not dying today" I said hugging her tighter.

Her body became limp.
She wasn't breathing anymore as I held her.
"Y-y/n" I said in a crackled whisper.
Then what happened after that was something no one would of thought would happen...

The roof from on top of us that kept us from escaping crumbled and rain flooded through the open roof.
I let go of y/n's dead body not excepting the truth and running to Petra.

~time skip cuz I'm cool~

"I can't take it" I yelled alone having yet again another panic attack.
Images of y/n's dead body flooded into my head as I screamed for it to stop.
I cried on the floor and regretted everything I had done since that day.

The underground roof broke letting us see real sunlight and the whole city moved into the overground world.
But even that didn't make me happy.

I pretended to still love Petra not wanting to change myself and ended up staying together with someone I never truly loved.
At that moment she had left me alone to go with some friends knowing I wasn't mentally stable.

I grabbed a knife and just like that the I got to see y/n once again.

~Your pov~

Ever since that day I missed Levi truly but I had other people who loved me that have passed away like me.
We all stayed in a cozy house happily.

Today we where having lunch on the flat roof.
It was calming up there because it had a nice breeze all the time and the sun shined on you in a nice loving way.

I got the last of the fruit from the fridge to hear excited yelling from the roof top.
I hurried up carefully not wanting to drop the glass bowls the fruit sat in.
I opened the white door and charged up the stairs and saw a familiar face.
Levi looked at me with widened eyes.

I dropped the bowls causing them to shatter and ran towards Levi.
I jumped on him and hugged him as he held me up and hugged me back.
"Levi!" I sobbed into his white as snow button up shirt.
"I missed you so much y/n" he said happily and actually showed a loving smile.

"Levi, I loved you so much" you said happily.
"I love you too" he said "I never loved Petra I only loved you".
