Author's POV:

The next thing we knew people were preparing for the ceremony. Pretty much everyone was invited who was in the meeting but Saka decided to invite Kol personally. "You are very welcome in the ceremony, Kol" "I'm really sorry about your father... but you seem really happy?" "It's uhh... It's just that you are by my side" Saka realized how cringey this line was, he cringed in embarrassment. It was the first time he had said something like this to someone other than his mother.

Now's the time, the crown will be placed on my head. The moment I've been waiting for.*hurray* The cheering lasted less than 10 seconds, they sure do not respect me. *claps*The sound of one person clapping could be heard very clearly and after a few seconds thousand others joined in. It was Kol who started it, what's up with him being all this supportive? I notice him signaling. "It's alright, we're friends now, remember?" I somehow understood his actions, it made me feel weird.

~The night after the ceremony~

Saka's POV:

The ceremony went fine. Now it was time to sleep. I went straight to my room and lay on my bed. I couldn't sleep, the silence was killing me. I had this feeling in my stomach, guilt. Random thoughts came to my mind, and the realization of killing my father hit me hard. I was caught up in the ceremony so much that I didn't even think about it for a second but now it's just me and my sinful thoughts. The silence was so loud that it overwhelmed me. Suddenly it got hard to breathe. I couldn't think straight, millions of thoughts were in my mind. I wanted to be saved I wanted to be held I wanted someone by my side." It's so cold..." "It's alright, we're friends now, remember?" a familiar voice... It all got blurry as my eyes got filled with tears and soon it all went black. The following day I was woken up by the knock on the door. Realizing I was on the floor I quickly got up and opened the door. The moment I opened the door I knew my life had changed.

Author's POV:

So here is how both became kings of their own kingdoms at the age of 15... Back when they were adults. Saka watched Atara's growth and Kol with his beautiful wife and two heirs while his kingdom was suffering from poverty and the primary source of income was trade with Atara.

Atara had everything... even an enemy, the Toka tribe. Saka had enough of this so he decided to do something he was already familiar with. All the years spent alongside Kol felt like a waste, someone always trying to help felt humiliating, and always trying to understand what he had gone through felt like an invasion. Saka had joined teams with the tribe leader and prepared for war...
