Six

(!!TW: some groping and harassment towards the end!!)

English came around a lot quicker than you had hoped.

You plopped into your seat, the ones in Mrs.Puffy's classroom were very comfortable, you were thankful. Ranboo arrived several minutes late but managed to slip in unnoticed. He took his seat and opened his book, he was almost bouncing in his seat, he was as eager for this lesson to end and you were. You just wanted to go home and get this hang out over with. After registration, Mrs. Puffy announced her lesson plan.

"Good afternoon everyone. Today I thought we could do something a little different, as you know this is the second half of your junior year, grades matter more than ever, no pressure. But, today I thought we could perhaps describe our futures or what we hope of them. I would like you all to think of your future career, or a career that interests you if you're not sure. You'll then describe why would want to be that, why you think you're fit for the role qualifications needed etc. You can list this in any way you want but the more detailed the better grade you'll get. You can work together if you want, if you don't finish today please take it home and finish it by this lesson next week."

You looked next to you to see Caiti looking at you with a grin then looking behind you knowing she wants you to go with Ranboo. You shook your head.

"Okay then, Y/n, what do you wanna be when you're older?"

"I have a few career choices.. maybe a therapist.. a vet... an actress maybe-"

"Oh Y/n, I was thinking of doing actor, maybe we can work together!"

You turn to see Ranboo looking at you with a welcoming smile, you turn back to Caiti to see her giving 'that' look. She turned to the person on her left and began talking, the two had absolutely nothing in common. You groaned and focused on Ranboo again.

"So, acting huh? I can see it."

"Uh yeah, I've always been fond of the idea of being and actress, I've done a few acting classes before and I wouldn't say that I'm bad.. so.."

You rambled to him and he was taking in every word of it. He just.. listened and didn't interrupt until you were finished.

"That's cool! I've liked acting since forever too. I've been in local plays but nothing too big."

He smiled at you, glad that the two of you had something in common. Mrs. Puffy but two pieces of paper on your desk, one lined on blank. You both agreed to do a poster a very detailed one at that. You began writing as he sketched a few pictures for your poster, they were small drawing of a stage, a couple of stage lights and some random props which he thought of. The drawing were very good, you had to admit. Ranboo never really did much in art class and  skipped it 70% of the time, so the drawing being of this good quality heavily shocked you.

You finished the work by the end of class and handed it in, Mrs. Puffy congratulated you both and awarded you both an A*, Ranboo gave you the credit for the work as you did the actual writing. You both sat around chatting about your plans for tonight, turns out you were going to a party, Ranboo just wanted to confirm you would be comfortable with going with him. He was glad that you were. The party was hosted by the Junior jocks and only the popular kids really knew about it. 

Finally class was over, you and Ranboo parted ways and you met with Niki and Caiti. You told them about your plans for tonight and needless to say they were ecstatic. You all rushed over to your house immediately and they helped you get ready. You confirmed with Ranboo about your outfit and his answer consisted of 'party clothes :)'. Niki picked out a white tennis skirt, a light blue baggy jumper with a white collared shirt underneath, you had tights with white fluffy leg warmers and doc martins. Caiti was working on curling your hair and applying makeup for you. A simple natural makeup with a smoky eye and liner. You looked stunning.

You looked at yourself in the mirror, Niki and Caiti high-fived at their work, proud that you liked. Your phone chimed and you saw the message from Ranboo.

"He's here and he said you guys can come as well if you'd like! Please come and make it less awkward."

They both nodded and followed you outside. You double checked your lock as the two girls got into the back of the car, they were both reasonably dressed for school and were satisfied with their current outfits. You walked over to the car and got into the front seat, Ranboo gave you a big smile and waited for everyone to buckle up before driving off. Ranboo let you choose the songs and you put on 'I wanna be your girlfriend' to start off the ride. To your surprise, Ranboo knew the song and sang the lyrics too. After that you played 'Teenagers' and 'Loverboy' before your ride came to an end. You thank Ranboo for the ride before the four of you exited the car and walked into the large house in front of you.

Ranboo automatically introduced you to some people and brought you to the drinks area where you, Niki and Caiti dug into the cocktails, which you weren't aware had a plentiful amount of alcohol in. Ranboo laughed and made a mental note to keep an eye on you three as you enjoyed your cocktail. Niki was quite a lightweight, she was the first to get drunk. You three danced in the centre, there was a variety of different gender so you felt safer not being surrounded by only males. You three screamed when a few One Direction songs came on, a band you collectively loved. 'Up all night' was the first one to play, Ranboo came more over to your direction and you danced side by side. 'Last First Kiss' was next, a classic. Everyone at the party was very much drunk by now, you barely stood straight. You and your friends decided to go to the bathroom quick to get a break from the hot air in the large living room. It was much cooler in there to your relief, you touched up your hair that had gone slightly wild in the mayhem.

You finally exited though got lost a bit in the crowd, you tried locating the main living room but the swarms of people complicated that immensely. You were about to find Ranboo when you felt a strong hand on your hip, it was one of the basketball players, Jake, such a basic name. You tried to push him off though he refused, he reeked of alcohol even more than you, Caiti and Niki combined.

"Hey Y/n~~ Looking good tonight.."

His voice slurred as he placed his other hand on you, one has lowered on you and the other raised, you were beginning to struggle at this point. You tried to fight back for a few more moments until you felt him being forced off of you. You're anxious state calmed down when you saw Ranboo pinning him to a wall.

"Touch her again and you're dead."

Jake backed off and Ranboo checked to see if you were alright, he offered to take you home, which at this point you generously accepted, you found Niki throwing up in a bucket with Caiti holding up her hair. You just laughed to yourself.

"C'mon guys, maybe we should leave now. Ranboo's offering."

You and Caiti helped Niki stumble to the car, who threw up again on the road. You got into the front seat and your eyes grew dreary. The ride back was quiet, quiet enough for you to fall asleep, which you did. Ranboo and your friends noticed this when you all pulled up and decided not to wake up. He carried you up to your room and left only after making sure that everyone was okay which Caiti assured she'd get everyone sorted. He left and asked Caiti to apologise to Y/n for him about Jake, she assured that she would.

Luckily you all only wore very light makeup so you passing out wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Caiti made sure everyone was comfortable before falling asleep herself.

You just all hoped the hangover wouldn't follow you to school.
