Victoria Apartment

It's midnight, Corey gave me her address. He said that he grew up with her but didn't know what reason she went to prison for. I came this late because I didn't want anyone to see me here.

Am I stupid for coming over here knowing I was involved with Noah's cover up? Yes.

"Hold up damn," she said as I kept knocking, I wanted to get out of the hallway before someone seen me.

"What shit?" She opened her door as I pushed my way in.

"Oh, no. No, sorry but no," she held the door opened but I slammed it shut.

"I just need to talk."

"I am not supposed to be..."

"Vic, just stop it. Okay."

"No. Because Charis you shouldn't be here right now. Or at any time, I don't know how you got my address. But I apologized for speaking to you. I didn't realize it was you. I did my time, I got some help. I'm doing what I should."

"I'm not here about that."

I just stared at her, because her button up sleeping shirt was opened.

She followed my eyes and she looked down, and immediately started fixing her shirt.

"You have to leave."

"Have you gone to the police about Noah?"

She slammed her door back shut.

"No, why are you bringing that shit up?" She snapped at me.

"Because, I sent you to prison, and you wou...."

"I deserved to go for what I did to you. I wasn't right, what I did was disgusting. I am truly sorry for that, I am."

I heard something happened to her when she was locked up.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine. Look I looked out for my boy Corey. I'm not going to cops, no need."

From the way she spoke, I could tell she changed which is a good thing. That's good for her.

"I didn't mean to upset you Victoria. I wanted to know..."

"You have not upset me, Cha c..Charis. I am fine, I am not going to the police for any reason. Don't worry about it."

"Well, I will let you get back to sleep."
