(Gwinam's POV)

Every since I got infected I regret wasting my time instead of making up with Byeol.

I should have listened to her before.

And I was scared because I might die and on the top of that I might hurt her if I turn into a zombie.

Everytime she comes near me a delicious smell tempts me to bit her but I tried to control myself.

What if I bit her?

"We'll figure out", she said while standing up and held her hand towards me.

I looked at her hand and then her face.

She was smiling.

She is not scared of me

That one reason was enough for me to accept her hand.

Do I deserve this girl?

She stood in front of me facing her friends who definately wanted me to leave.

"If he leaves I will too", she said confidently.

"Byeol-ah, are you sure?", Cheongsan asked me.

"I am. He was bitten before we even came here but look he is alright. He won't hurt any of us. I promise"

"But how is he alright even after two bits?", Onjo asked.

"The girl who had bitten him before was alright too. When I saw her she was not at all looking like a zombie", I replied.

"That means......", Joonyeong was about to complete his words but Namra did that instead,"The virus mutated"

"What should we do now?", Daesu exclaimed.

"Let's vote, if the majority votes O then Gwinam will stay if not then he will leave", Namra announced.

The votes were 6:4 that meant he will stay.

I sighed in relief.

We all were gathered around the fire since it was cold.

I asked Onjo about what happened to Gyeongsu and Ms Park.

I can't believe Nayeon was so evil.

"What about Sian? She was not in the school, right?", Hyoryung asked me.

"Oh my god- I totally forgot"

"What happened?"

"I actually called her telling about our situation and she said she will come to save me"

"I don't think she will be able to come here", Soohyeok stated.

"Is she alright?", I murmured.

"Don't worry she will be", Woojin said.

"What about Isak-ie?", I totally forgot about her.

"She was bitten", Jimin answered.

"WHAT?", I screamed.

She can't be.....

My eyes were tearing up once again.

She was one of my closest friends.

Gwinam held my hand squeezing them.

"It was my fault, I should have protected her", Onjo said as she hugged me.

She was crying too.

"It's no one's fault", my voice cracked as I replied.
