The Angry Birds Movie 3; Legend of the Golden Egg

Chapter 14

Gale was getting bored during the date and Victor did most of the talking. She was trying to figure out a way to get out of there until Ross came running towards them, screaming, "YOUR HIGHNESS! BAD NEWS!" He stops gasping for air. Then Victor says, "Excuse me, punk. But can't you see we are busy here? Beat it!"

"Forgive me, but it's important." Ross continued. "Remember Leonard and all those birds you left behind in Piggy Island? Well, I saw them. They're here and they want that golden egg. What do we do?!"

She couldn't believe it and scolded Victor. "Ugh! This is just a way to distract me! If they find that egg before I do, I'll throw you into that volcano! Ross, tell everyone to wake up. We gotta finish chopping down these trees."
Ross did as she said and everyone got back to work while she slept.

Meanwhile, everyone was traveling through the forest and were trying to not be seen by any strange creatures. As they travel, the hatchlings begin complaining because they were tired and they wanted to get sleep. Red was hearing them and said, "Guys, I think we need to stop. We can get there in the morning."

"But Red, there's no place to sleep." Bomb said.

"We can just sleep under the stars." Stella suggested. "When we are outdoors and have nothing, this is what we do. I've always loved doing that."

Stella's friends liked the idea but the pigs complained. "I don't see why that's fun." Leonard said. "It's too cold out here and there's a chance one of us might be inside the belly of a beast tomorrow."

"Leonard, we have no choice." Silver commented. "If you don't want to sleep, then you can keep watch tonight."

"Keep watch?" Leonard asked.

"Yes." Silver said. "If you are afraid someone will be eaten tomorrow, then someone needs to keep watch for the night so that won't happen."

Leonard didn't want to keep watch so he decided to try and go to sleep. Mighty Eagle agreed to keep watch for the night instead. Dahlia built a fire to keep them warm and for light. Mighty Eagle eventually fell asleep after an hour watching.

The next morning, the pigs back on the beach were exhausted and could barely chop down a tree. Gale asked how the progress was going and Victor said, "Well it looks like we might be done in 6 months if we keep going." Gale didn't like the answer and so she yelled, "Everyone, chainsaws down!"

They dropped everything and went to the boat. "Since you all are tired of working and progress isn't going well, I have a better idea. We will stop cutting down trees and go through the forest. We will have to be quick since there are others here that want the golden egg also. Once we get the egg, we burn the trees down and get out of here." They agreed and begin to walk.
