"Wake up! Emmy, wake up!" I knew I could hear her voice coming from the otherworld, the real world, but i couldn't seem to open my eyes. I struggled but its as if they were glued shut. I tried to look around, to see anything at all, but I was left with only darkness. Soon it seemed there was so much of it it was reveling in itself. "Someone help me! Please help me!!" I shouted into the nothingness. I felt my words echo more than I actually heard them, which definitely creeped me out. "Will she be alright?" I turned to my right, where the sound was coming from, but when I turned it came from behind me, then it seemed as if it were underneath me. I turned frantically around in a desperate attempt to identify the source of the words. I suddenly felt light headed, so I slowly sat on the ground. When I reached the ground, it felt cold, almost slimy, but not. Sitting there I realized I was lost, if it was possible to get lost in nothing. It couldn't even be black anymore, for nothingness isn't black but, well, nothing. A chilled breeze swept quickly across my hand and i felt a cold heat sear my skin. It lashed at my fingers moving up to my arm and ending just short of my neck. I screamed in agony. I had to get out of here, where ever I was. I felt my blood dripping around me, and when I stood up again my legs has an unpleasant sticky feeling. I took one step and then something snaked out from underneath me and tripped me. I fell hard, my hands and feet flailing around in an attempt to stop myself from skidding any further. It was then I realized my body was no longer touching the cold hard surface, but that I was touching nothing. "How is that possible?" I asked, sound once again bouncing off itself in eery echoes. Am I floating? No, it doesn't feel like that. It feels like... NO! I was falling, I could feel myself slipping away, out of the conscious world...
