Chapter 8: Experience Points

Aika's POV

'Wait a minute...turning someone into a demon?, something just came to my mind, if I remember correctly in the manga that medicine suppose to cure a deadly illness with that specific ingredients. If only I can get a hand on that I can make some experiments and create a medicine without turning someone into a demon' I thought thinking deeply about the possibility of it.

'The blue.... '

System: Dear host It's late. You need to sleep, you still going to hunt a demon tomorrow

"Yeah about that, I forgot to ask you again about the experience point thingy you're talking about last week"

System: I'll tell you tomorrow so please go to sleep

"Alright!, good night then," I said laying down on my futon

I fixed up my things, put my own made onigiri, and some essential things, especially some medicine and bandages to the bamboo bag that I made.

And last, fixing my hair with this starfish clip that I made myself

"Alright then let's start our demon hunting. System-san where should I start "

System: Dear host please head to this place

A sudden map appear in front of my eyes

"northeast?...alright let's go"

I start running towards the direction where the map is pointing

"So what's happening in that town? "

System: some of the men aged 16-18 have been disappearing and none of them have been found

"I see"

'A demon for sure but I am a little nervous it's my first time fighting a demon after all'

I suddenly stop when I sense something in my surrounding

The demon suddenly jumps from above and I immediately dodge it.

"Kekekekee!  A woman and a beautiful one too, I'm sure you're going to be tasty" the demon said

'A demon in front of my eyes, I'm scared ' *breathing heavily*

System: calm down dear host keep your breathing under control

I snapped when the demon dashed towards me and try to attack me with its claw, but I surprisingly dodge it again

"I dodge it again? "

'It's like my body is moving on its own'

System: calm down dear host, you are stronger now than you think.

'Yes! I need to have some confidence in myself. What are those 6 months of hellish training are for. This demon is not even the one I'm going for'

I immediately correct my stance and my breathing

"Kekekkee. Your mine Woman! !" The demon said dashing again towards me

I slide down one fan from my sleeve

"Ocean Breathing, Fourth Form"

I fastly dash toward the demon, fast enough for him to not be able to see me, and decapitate him in one strike.

Making the demon freeze in shock that the only thing he can see is that I suddenly look disappear in front of him

"Harmonic Strike," I said while the demon head fall to the ground.

"I'm sorry demon but I'm not yours"

"Mind telling me now," I said while going back on running towards my first I mean the second demon to hunt

System: Experience points are acquired whenever the host was able to kill a demon, the stronger the demon the higher is the experience points you can get

" I see, 2 points for that demon well if I'm not panicking at first I can get to kill that demon right away. So what are these experience points for? "

System: you can spend these points in asking some minor wishes just say the words "I wish for" but the system certainly cannot fulfill wishes that are beyond our limitation.

"So wishing someone bring to life is impossible right"

System: yes

"You said minor wishes. If I wish for something that came from my world can you fulfill that"

System: yes but it is also limited and depends on the things you wish for due to the different frequency and circumstances of two different worlds.

"Oh, I see then I want to ask you first before spending my points... Do you know the location of the Blue Spider Lily"

System: yes

"Really!!!" I said stopping on my track

System: I can tell you where it blooms but right now it is impossible to get one due to the reason that  the Blue Spider Lily bloom 3 times a year only in the morning and right now I cannot detect any in the whole country

"I see, no wonder Muzan wasn't able to find it, it only blooms in the morning," I said going back on running

"Then tell me how many points I need if I want to wish for it? "

System: 5 points dear host

"I see then I just need to kill that demon and hopes that it was stronger to that first demon I killed"

'I need the Blue Spider Lily to create a miracle medicine that can help and probably save a lot of people'
