Aika's POV

System: Dear host why don't you go to bed early today. Tomorrow will be a special day remember!

"Yes I know that just give me a few minutes alright, I'm almost finished with this," I said doing some mechanical thing

System: you've been working on that for the past months now you even wish for the other material just to make it. Where are you going to use it anyway? If I remember you don't have any hearing problems.

"It's not mine, it's a gift to someone, I just hope he will like it. ......there!!! all done, it might not have the same effect back in my world but it will help him to hear things clearer now" I said while looking at the thing that I just created from the scratch

It's been 1 year since I got here in this world and I got used to living in this world. It's not that bad at all and it will become great if no man-eating demons are lurking around.

I started to run toward the mountain where the final selection is supposed to happen. When I reach the foot of the mountain, I saw the wisteria flower around. It is so beautiful. Seeing it in the manga and anime is already amazing and beautiful but seeing it personal is another thing. I didn't let this opportunity to get some samples and cut some flowers from the tree. I'm going to be needing it in making poison and help Shinobu to create a poison that can't be broken down or neutralized by that pervert freak.

I started to climb up the stairs while admiring the flowers. When I got to the top, I saw some unfamiliar faces. All of us are just silent when two girls appear in front of us. I forgot their names but, in the anime, they are quite scary.

"Welcome" " to the final selection," the two girls said simultaneously that creeps me out

"Final Selection is a test for people who want to join the Demon Slayer Corps and become a Demon Slayer. The exam is held on Fujikasane Mountain, where Wisteria flowers bloom throughout the year from the mountain's foot to its slope. The area surrounding the mountaintop is devoid of Wisteria flowers and infested with Demons, which were captured alive and placed on the mountain by existing Demon Slayers. Because Wisteria is poisonous to Demons, they are trapped on the mountain top and unable to leave."

"The examinee must survive seven nights on the mountaintop without any outside assistance. Candidates who complete the seven nights become official members of the Demon Slayer Corps. They get to choose their ore for their Nichirin Sword at the end of the exam, as well as their uniform and Kasugai Crow." The two of them explain with their unchanging creepy smile

"And now be on your way," the two of them said at the same time. Making the other participants go and run inside the forest. I did the same thing.

The place is just like what I saw in the anime, so just like Tanjiro, I need to head to the east where the sunrise takes place.

I stop running when I feel a demon is nearby. And looks like I'm not wrong because soon after a demon just jump out of nowhere attacking me and something that I easily dodge

'Looks like every demon's hobby is to sneak attack ' I thought with a sweatdrop forming in my head

"Woman you look delici..." The demon stop what is saying because I just cut its head

"Shut up! You demons just saying the same line over and over" I said with an irk mark on my head

6 days have passed and what I'm doing is trying to survive. Eating sleeping in the morning and killing a demon when I bumped into one but so far the demon I killed is all 2 or 3 points means they are all weak. Until I meet that horrible hand demon.

"Another prey! to eat on," the demon said putting a smile well I can't tell if he's smiling because of those arm around his neck and mouth but I know because of the tone of his voice and his eyes tells it all

"I'm sorry morphed demon but I'm not the one destined to kill you so I'm going to leave you and I'm going to pretend that I didn't see you," I said turning around my back to the demon that make him engraved with rage

"How dare you, look down on me" the demon shouted and send some of his disgusting hands towards me.

"I told you I'm not your opponent," I said glancing back at the demon and before those hands even touch me. "Ocean Breathing, Fourth Form Harmonic Strike," I said and disappearing in front of him and cutting his neck. The demon's eyes widen because no one has cut his neck ever since he got captured and imprisoned in this mountain.

"You don't need to worry you're not dead yet," I said removing the blood from my fan and immediately the demon touches his neck that in his shock is still intact and was starting to heal already.

"See! I didn't cut your head fully so you'll be fine" turning my back again "You! Your strength you're a Hashira" the demon said in terror before I disappear in front of him.

Not killing that demon due to the reason that that demon will be a big part of Tanjiro's growth.

I wonder and wonder until I got to the spot where there were a lot of wisteria trees again, a sign that I finished the final selection. Soon after I got to choose my ore for my nichirin blade. I did tell them that my nichirin blade should be a forge in a fan-like weapon. I also got my uniform and my kasugai crow and I named it Kuro, after that, I decided to go back to my house. I'm really tired and my clothes are full of dirt and torn out

Demon Slayer HQ

"She passed the Selection, I'm really glad that she became one of my children. I'm excited to see her in the future" a man with pale skin, black hair, and a seeming scar-like on his face

I waited for my nichirin blade to be delivered to me by the Smith who made it and I I'm very excited to see my fan aside from the fan that the system gave me.

When I was sweeping the dry leaves in front of my house, a man with a wears mask approach me. "are you Aika Fujiki" he ask me with his low tone voice " yes I am" I said giving a smile to the man 'I know that he's here to deliver my blade' "Please come in" I said to the man gesturing my hands towards my house.

"My name is Kozo Kanamori, I'm the one that forges your nichirin blade," he said handing over a big square wooden box "it's my first time making a unique weapon like yours so I hope it is to your liking," he said

I open the box and see two folded fans, they were beautiful. I grab the two of them and open them and it changes to a beautiful green with a white pattern on it "it is an amazing color Fujiki-san" he said with a satisfied tone in his voice.

Soon after Kanamori-san leave, I continue to sweep the dried leaves in the front of the house and that's when Kuro landed on my shoulder. "CAW! CAW! Go South! Go South! Hunt the Demon! CAW! Go South"

"My first mission as a demon slayer! "
