George loved nature.

He always had. In his opinion, who wouldn't enjoy the whispering of the leaves as the wind blew by, the refreshing morning mist, the dew drops on leaves that made the entire forest sparkle like stars, or most of all, the stunning sunrise over the viridian lake?

He spent all of his free time there, by the lake, with the fresh air and chirping birds. And George had a lot of free time; being the only son of a wealthy merchant in an aristocratic family. There were many wars and many famines, but George remained unaffected by everything happening around him.

An apathetic man with nothing but curiosity towards the world around him. The world was his oyster, George Henry Davidson had so much to do in his life. So much potential.

So much loss.

He could never forget that day.
