Chapter 12

A few days has passed since Donna told Y/n what she was feeling. Upon hearing that the council became very chatty on what would happen next. Y/n unfortunately, had to do her monthly siphon in order to keep her powers maintained.

This was a very painful process but it had to be done. Y/n asked Donna and Angie to meet her outside when they were done doing whatever they were doing at the time.

Donna was honestly worried that Y/n might end up saying or doing something she wouldn't like.

But that wasn't the case.

While waiting for Donna, Y/n was starting to feel the sharp pain telling her that it's time. A red aura surrounded Y/n as the pain slowly intensified.

"Master you can't wait much longer or else you will perish." Garo said worried.

"Just calm down. She won't take to much longer." Y/n told the large wolf.

Not long after saying that, Donna and Angie walked outside and Y/n smiled.

"So... why did you want us to come out here? In the open?" Donna asked.

Y/n stood up and was about to speak but that sharp pain hit her head. That caused Y/n to groan in pain and hold her head.

"What going on? Are you okay, Y/n?" Donna said very worried.

"I don't know why the master wishes for you to see this but I can't argue with her decision. Watch closely Donna and Angie Beneviento." Garo said.

Confused Donna and Angie looked at the giant wolf that started the siphoning process. The red aura around Y/n was getting sucked into Garo.

"What is going on?" Donna asked.

Angie was watching in amazement.

"This is a monthly requirement or when the master has used too much of her powers. The masters body can't contain the power she was given. Because of that, it was killing the master at a rapid pace. To solve this problem the master created the council of blood. She each gave a parts of her power and she can use it whenever she needs it without suffering. However every month or anytime the master uses too much power, we have to siphon it. If it is not siphoned, the master will die." Garo explained.

"Wait... Y/n's body couldn't contain her powers?" Donna said in disbelief.

"Yes." Garo said simply.

"Very clever of her to make you to keep herself alive and in check." Angie said.

"So how long does this process take?" Donna asked.

"Deepens on how much there is to siphon." Garo said.

Y/n was feeling light headed and tired. This was a very painful and annoying process to Y/n but it needs to be done.

"The master will be very tired after this is done just so you know." Garo said.

"Oh so that's why she wanted us to come out. She just wanted Donna to carry her back inside." Angie said rather annoyed.

"No that's not it." Garo growled.

"The master just wanted to show you this process for some reason." Garo added.

"Okay Angie, let's not piss off the giant blood wolf." Donna said embarrassed.

"I don't know what she sees in you." Garo said suddenly.

"I'm sorry?" Donna asked confused.

"The master seems to like you. I don't know what you did to get her attention but you got it. I wouldn't throw this away if I were you." Garo said.

Garo's words stunned Donna. Garo was done siphoning the excess power from Y/n and caused Y/n to collapse.

"Take the master inside and let her rest for a few hours. And if she doesn't wake up don't worry one of us will fix it." Garo said before disappearing.

Donna took a deep breath and picked Y/n up and took her inside. To Donna's surprise Y/n was really light. Donna placed Y/n in her bed and as Donna was going to leave, a hand reached out and grabbed Donna's arm and pulled her in bed.

Donna was surprised that Y/n grabbed her. Y/n wasn't going to let go of Donna either.

"Aww! Why? Now we can't finish the doll." Angie whined.

"Oh hush Angie! I've never slacked off on making any dolls. Y/n just wants me to be with her right now." Donna said.

Angie rolled her eyes and went to play with her friends. Donna wasn't wrong about Y/n wanting Donna to be with her. The bond was going to be made soon.
