We waited at the gate with the other winners as I felt nervous. "You nervous?" Charlie asked as he held my hand. "Well, it's not every day you get to meet the main creator of the best chocolate in the world." I said with a smile as he smiled back. "Please enter." Mr. Wonka's voice called out over a speaker as the gates opened. We entered and stopped once we were in.
"Come forward." Mr. Wonka's voice said as we walked forward. "Close the gates." He said and the gates closed as I giggled a little since it seems he may be having fun with the orders. We stopped at the front of a big metal door and waited. "Dear visitors, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to my humble factory. Who am I? Well..." He trailed off as the door opened with music and a puppy show.
The stage was on fire as the puppets stopped working as I watched in slight interest. There was happy clapping as we look down to the edge and saw someone in a nice dress coat, a cane, a top hat and purple rubber gloves. "Wasn't that magnificent? I was getting a little worried it was sort of dodgy inthe middle part, but then, that finale! Wow!" The man said and went onto the stage.
Willy's POV
"Who are you?" The child matching her mother asked as I was about to answer. "He's Willy Wonka." A girl in a nice dress coat said as I stared at her a little. She had the softest looking h/c hair and beautiful e/c jewels. She looked like she was crafted by angels. I was suddenly more nervous than I already was. "Good morning, Starshine! The Earth says hello!" I said as everyone looked confused. I swallowed a little and pulled out some index cards.
"Dear guests, greetings! Welcome to the factory! I shake you warmly by the hand." I smiled and stuck my hand out. I was about to pull it back when no one went to shake it, but the beautiful h/c girl came up and shook it with a smile. Her touch was so warm in the cold winter air that I felt sad when she let go to return to her spot. "My name is Willy Wonka." I read as I felt my cheeks heat up a little. "Then shouldn't you be up there?" The child with the expensive fur coat asked, pointing to the throne.
"Well, I couldn't very well watch the show from up there, now, could I, little girl?" I asked with a sassy smile as she went quiet. "Mr. Wonka?" I hear a voice call out so smoothly and looked at the h/c angel. "I don't know if you would remember, but my Grandpa Joe used to work for you in the factory." She said as my mood changed a little sour. "Was he one of those despicable spies who every day tried to steal my life's work and sell it to those parasitic copycat candymaking cads?" I asked, still a bit upset.
"No, sir. He actually loved working for you. He would tell us stories about you. He loved your work." She said softly with a small smile. I felt my cheeks warm up a little and gave a bright smile. "Oh, good! Tell him hello for me when the tour's over." I said as she smiled even more, showing her white pearls. "Let's get a move on, kids." I said and started to lead everyone. "Don't you want to know all our names?" The porker asked with chocolate over his face. "Can't imagine how it would matter. Come quickly, there's far too much to see." I said and lead them inside then stopped.
"Just throw your coats anywhere." I said taking off my coat and tossed my sunglasses on it. The girl and the child she was with put theirs on the poles as I smiled a little. "Mr. Wonka, it sure is toasty in here." The man with the cheating kid said, taking off his coat. "What? Oh, yes, I have to keep it warm in here because my workers are used to an extremely hot climate. They just can't stand the cold." I said with a smile. "Who are the workers?" The cute child with the h/c girl asked as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
