Family Christmas

Adrien sat on the couch with Louis, his and Marinette's first born child. Marinette walked in through the front door and dusted the snow off of her shoulder. Adrien was quick to get up and go to her. "Who said you could go out in the cold for groceries?" He asked with a smile and kissed her head. "I did, calm down." Marinette giggled and looked up at him. "You didn't walk did you?" Adrien asked as he took some of the bags from her...well most of the bags. 

Marinette shook her head and walked with him to the kitchen. "You were still asleep and I didn't want to wake you since you looked exhausted after yesterday. Your bodyguard insisted on driving me to the store." She said softly, placing the bag on the kitchen counter.

"Mommy! Daddy and I made you something!" Louis said as he ran to her and handed her a drawing of Ladybug and Chat Noir, with him in a little Mister bug suit with cat ears. Marinette smiled. "Aww. It's beautiful baby, thank you." Marinette kissed his head and put it on the counter. She planned on adding it to the collection in her her work room after she was done cooking dinner. Adrien walked over to Marinette. "Next time you need to go somewhere wake me up and I'll go with you. I don't want anything happening to you both, you know how people are." He said softly and rubbed his wife's baby bump. Marinette was about 8 months pregnant.  

Marinette smiled and held his hand. "I know dear. Your bodyguard stayed with me and helped me with the shopping, I was careful too." She said quietly and looked up at him. Adrien smiled and kissed her. Marinette kissed back and closed her eyes. "Hey! I'm still here!" Louis said and crossed his arms. "My bad, I forgot about the most important person on the planet!" Adrien said after pulling away from their kiss.

He picked up their son and started kissing all over his face. Louis laughed and hugged his dad as Marinette smiled while watching the two. Marinette turned around and started pulling the groceries out the bag. Adrien looked at her and sat him on the counter by her. "You help your mom take the stuff out the bag and I'll get the cutting board." Adrien said quietly and Louis nodded. Marinette handed him a item from the bag and he placed it down on the counter. This is how he always helped. 

"Oh honey! Alya and Nino want to come over for dinner and I said I would check with you to see if they can, their waiting on the text from you for the final answer." Marinette said as she handed Louis another item. "Alright, I'll finish washing these and go grab my phone from upstairs." he said softly. He dried the cutting board and knife then placed them by Marinette. "Don't touch." He said to Louis and kissed his head. 

Louis nodded and Marinette smiled. She watched Adrien  go upstairs and grabbed the knife. She handed Louis a bell paper and watched as he crawled on the counter. He washed it once he got to the sink and handed back to Marinette. "Thank you dear. That is the hardest job ever and you are the best at it." Marinette giggled and started to cut the bell pepper. 

"Hey mommy? What happens when the baby in your tummy comes out? Are you gonna be ok?" Louis asked quietly. Marinette looked at him and smiled as she continued cutting the bell pepper. "Well, you'll get to meet your new baby sister or brother, and I'll be a little tired and slow for some time. For the most part I'll be ok." She said softly and Louis smiled. "But if I wasn't then there's nothing to worry about cause I've got the two most handsome, and caring boys to help me." Marinette added and cupped his cheeks while kissing his face like a mother would. 

Adrien walked back down seeing this and smiled as he walked back into the kitchen. He stood behind Marinette and placed his hands under the baby bump, sort of cradling it. "Alya and Nino are gonna come by a bit early before dinner is ready." He said softly and rested his head on top of hers. 

Mari looked up at him and smiled. "Ok." She replied and looked at the bell pepper. Adrien watched her and slowly lifted the baby bump, being careful not to hurt either of them. Marinette relaxed a bit and leaned back on him as he did this.
