Miraculous One Shots

DAMN IT

Alright so this is when Adrien and Marinette are living together. It's a mix of the love square I guess I don't really know. I'm getting these ideas out before they vanish forever.  Anyway enjoy.

Adrien was sitting on the couch typing away on his computer while he looked through his stuff. He had a photo shoot today and was waiting for Marinette to wake up to give her the medicine and get going. Marinette has been sick for the past few days and the doctors weren't sure as to why. She was running a high fever and she couldn't really eat. Everything she ate would just come back up an hour or so later. 

As he set the computer down and went to the kitchen, he heard a thud from the bed room. "Mari?" He called out but no answer. This worried him and he grabbed a water bottle and her medicine. 

As Adrien walked into the room he saw Marinette sitting on the floor. She looked up at him and smiled a bit. "Good morning.." Marinette said quietly and Adrien sighed. After placing the medicine and water on the table he lifted the bluenette off the ground. "We're you trying to go to the bathroom?" He asked and she nodded. 

"You know, you don't have to help me Adrien." Marinette said quietly as he sat her on the bathroom sink and handed her the toothbrush and toothpaste. Adrien looked at her. "You've been fighting with yourself to eat, lost almost 10 pounds in the past 2 weeks, and you can barely walk without falling. I'm going to help you and you better deal with that princess." Adrien said softly and kissed her head. "How do you feel right now?" He asked and held the temperature gun to her forehead till it beeped. 

"I feel heavy..tired, and I feel like I'm being boiled alive." She mumbled and started brushing her teeth. Adrien looked at her and looked at the temperature. "You've got a high fever. I'm taking you back to the hospital and I'm making sure they check you out this time." He said and watched her as she brushed her teeth.

Marinette rinsed and looked at him. "Babe..I appreciate the care and all, but maybe don't get to stressed about this." She said softly and cupped his cheeks. "I love you and I know your worried, lets just take this slow and see how it goes. tomorrow afternoon if nothing changes or I get worse then we can go back." Marinette smiled and Adrien looked at her. "Yea ok." He sighed in defeat and looked at the time. 

"Come on, you need to take your medicine. I have a photo shoot so I'm gonna text Alya and Nino to see if they can come keep an eye on you and take care of you." Adrien said as he picked her up and carried her back to bed. "How long are you gonna be gone?" Marinette asked and let him go as she was set down on the bed.

"I'll be back home by 3 pm. Do you want me to bring home something for you to eat or am I coming straight home?" Adrien asked and looked at her. "You can just come straight home. I'll get leftovers from the fridge." Marinette replied and watched as Adrien took the medicine out and handed her the pills. She placed the pills in her mouth and washed them down with some water.

Adrien checked his phone. "Alright, I've got to get going. I'll see you later today M'Lady. Rest up ok." He smiled and kissed her head. Marinette smiled and nodded. She watched as he left the room. Adrien placed the spare key in the mail box so Alya and Nino can grab it when they got here. He got in the car and went to the photo shoot. 

Alya and Nino soon arrived at their friends house and walked inside. Nino looked around and then to Alya. "Where is she?" He whispered and Alya looked at the text. "Shes in the room laying down. He said if she isn't then she should be." Alya replied and put her phone in her back pocket as she walked down the hall to the room. Marinette was sitting up scrolling through her phone and watching little videos of hamsters. 

Marinette looked up to see her best friend. "Hey, welcome to my hide out." She said jokingly and put her phone down. Alya smiled and sat down next to her. "How long have you been sick?" She asked and Marinette sighed. "3 or 4 days, I don't know." She said quietly and Alya nodded.
