Here I am standing in front of the man I love, but he is unfamiliar. The eyes that used to gaze at me with love, are now filled with power, greed, and contempt.
"What happened to you ?"
"Life happened to me. Money happened to me. Power happened to me. Diamonds happened to me. You happened to me, Diamond. You ain't no different than me."
"Please baby, it don't gotta be like this. We can move somewhere else and start over. I love you."
He laughed dryly before smirking at me. "You knew what it was when we first got together. The only way out is 6 feet under or locked up. And the only way you leavin baby is over my dead body."
I then knew what I had to do. I pulled the gun out of my purse. " I'm so so so sorry, baby." I spoke with tears in my eyes.
"You know Diamond, I always knew that loving you was gone kill me. So do it, remember everything I taught you." He taunted me with a smirk. My hands were shaking and sweating, I can't kill my love, but I have to it's for the both of us. "Stop shakin, and act like I taught you somethin Diamond. There you go , now remember aim between my eyes. Stop being scared."
Tired of him talking , I closes my eyes and pulled the trigger.
"I'm ashamed." He said with a smirk as he fell down clutching his stomach. " I told you always shoot to kill, because survivors are a disease. They will kill you. "
I pick up my duffle bag and begin walking out of our once happy home.
"Diamond , Diamond , listen to me." I spun around to watch him bleeding out on the ground.
"You truly are a Diamond. No matter how much pressure I put you through, or how polished you think these clothes and fancy diamonds make you, you will always be a worthless piece of coal just like I found you. You're making a mistake not finishing me off."
I took off my earrings, necklace and bracelets then threw them at him. " Fuck these diamonds. They don't mean shit. I don't need them. All I wanted is you! You , it's always been you. You were all I needed!" I screamed. I then said calmly "No words you say can hurt me anymore than
you already have. And somehow I know this is a mistake but I wouldn't take anything back. Because being with you , even though you brung me pain, you also gave me love and life. So thank you, Sincere. I really do love you."
With that I walked out of our home. I walked out on my life. I walked on Sin.
