letter no. 5

Dear Zayn,

Exams are starting.

It is quite disturbing.

but I just want you to know that

I'm proud of you.

We still don't know the whole story,

but it was heart warming to hear you thank the boys glory.

It was 5 years and 5 years are too much.

And I thought you'd all be too attached to leave.

But somehow, everyone will be going in their different ways,

trying to make other dreams come true.

I guess I avoided it to try and not believe it,

or, not believe it at all.

The thing is,

you left with no warning.

I mean,

I saw how pretty upset you were,

but no warning.

You were sad, yeah, but I didn't know it was enough to

make you go away.

I liked the color of that shirt you wore.

It suited your eyes and, oh,

your eyes.

I better go though,

I'm expected to be studying.

And doing last minute projects aren't really the best.
