Y/N had just gotten home from work late at night, her navy blue blazer lazily hanging off her shoulder. The rain outside was heavily pouring, leaving Y/N soaked in water. Her expression was of gloom as she walked through the doorway, immediately throwing the drenched blazer onto a chair.

As Y/N took off her black stilettos, a faint record could be heard playing. She sighed in relief as the plastic that once dug into her heels was finally removed. When she walked into the living room, she was met with a pair of ocean blue eyes.

"I missed you, honey," Bill smiled as he saw his girlfriend walk into the room. Y/N viewed their coffee table in awe, rose petals scattered across the table with pink & red candles. In Bill's hands were two cups of tea, still steeping.

"You did all this? Aww, baby.." Y/N walked over to her boyfriend as he set his own cup onto a coaster. Y/N slowly sat down while admiring the beautiful decorations, the music making the occasion even more magic than it already was.

"I hope you like the tea, it's your favorite!" Bill gently handed his girlfriend a mug full with jasmine tea. Y/N scooted closer to Bill, their legs touching one another. Slowly, Y/N rose the mug up to her lips, taking a short sip of its contents.

"Oh Bill, I love it! Thank you for all of this!" Y/N smiled with glee as she watched her boyfriend grin at her comment. As she sat her mug down onto the remaining coaster, she turned towards Bill. As the music continued playing, Y/N knew what would make this night perfect.

"Wanna dance?" Y/N asked, her palm open and brow raised.
"I was hoping you'd ask," Bill replied with a laugh, intertwining his hand with Y/N's. They both stood up and carefully moved over towards the window, light causing the rain to beautifully glisten against the window. As Bill placed his hands onto Y/N's hips, she wrapped her arms around his neck.

The couple slowly moved in sync, the sound of the music flooding the room. Both Bill and Y/N lovingly looked into each other's eyes, their faces inching closer and closer.
"I love you," Y/N whispered with a genuine tone and smile.

"I love you more," Bill replied, tightening the grip on Y/N's waist. As the song came to an end, Y/N tilted her head up towards Bill and moved closer until their lips were touching. Bill's lips instantly moved in sync with Y/N's, as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss.

Y/N slowly let her right hand travel down Bill's chest, as Bill ran his hands through her hair. The couple finally broke apart for air minutes later, eyes filled with lust locked together. Their hands intertwined once more, Bill and Y/N smiling at each other as they caught their breath in a comfortable silence.

Y/N turned to look over at the two cups of tea that the couple had abandoned.
"I think we should go finish the tea, it's probably cold," Y/N laughed. Bill let out a chuckle and agreed with his girlfriend, completely forgetting about the two mugs he had prepared.
