Dream knocked on karl's apartment and when he opened the door he saw both karl and George, George saw Dream and ran to hug him. Dream enjoyed the hug a lot.
George-"Dream you won't believe it! Karl is a genius!"
Dream-"i already knew that! *giggles* but yes, how is he a genius?"
Karl-"I figured out the timeline pattern, i think i know how to create a portal leading to 2022!"
Dream-"wait... how does George know about this?"
Karl-"he is a good friend of mine and yours so..."
Dream-"YOU TOLD HIM???"
Karl-"I didn't think you would mind..."
Dream-"ugh its fine"
Karl-"you're sure?"
Dream-"yeah i trust George enough"
George had butterflies
Karl-"well get to working! Here is the tutorial i drew for you! Time to start helping me build the machine!"
The next day before going to Karl's apartment Dream went to get ice cream, he entered the ice cream shop he used to go to as a kid in the neighbourhood and when he entered he saw George sitting there.
George-"Dream! What a lovely surprise!"
Dream-"George! How are you?"
George-"I'm wonderful! I decided to get ice cream before i go to help out you and Karl"
Dream-"I have the exact same reason to be here *giggles* what do you say that every morning before going to Karl's we'll just chill here?"
George-"i would love that"
And that's how it went, every single day Dream and George would hang out at the ice cream shop before going to Karl's but mean while Dream was having confusing thoughts and wonders if he felt something
for George, he felt like he was, well, falling for him.

George and Dream were having a conversation at the ice cream shop.
George-"I honestly feel kinda bad that every day while Karl is busting he's butt working on your machine while we are just chilling *giggles*"
Dream-"but we join him after an hour don't we? *laughter*"
George-"Lets go help him"
They got to he's house and Karl immediately jumped towards their direction.
Karl-"The machine! We finished making it! Dream you'll be able to come back by tomorrow!"
Dream-"Yeah! I can't wait..." he said as he's face turned white
Karl-"is something wrong?"
Dream-"I'm just really going to miss you guys"
George-"we will miss you two"
Dream looked at George and understood there is nothing he can do about it and that George and him will never be able to be together.
They decided to spend their last night together the three of them at Karl's apartment. After Karl fell asleep Dream and George realised they're the only ones awake, they locked eyes and Dream wanted to kiss him so bad.
Dream-"George i am going to miss you so much"
George-"i will miss you more"
Dream-"not possible" he said and hugged him tight.
The next day they woke up and Karl turned on the machine as a portal was created,
Karl-"just walk through that portal and you will get to 2022"
They hugged one last time and Dream was about to go through the portal but he hesitated. He looked at George and said with a big smile
Dream-"i love you George" he said as he walked through the portal George looked into the empty portal and said
George-"i love you two"
But it was too late, and Dream never got the chance to know, that even when they're 52 years apart they will forever love each other.
