bakugo heads to his usual table, which consists of the bakusquad. but, when he reached the table he was surprised to see kirishima sitting their too.
without deku. it also seems like everyone else sat at the table too were also in shock.
although, kirishima put on an act to make it seem like everything was normal. like how it was before bakugo got into a coma.
once bakugo sat down, the mood seemed to change. kirishima just sat there, making small talk with everyone whilst shooting small, unnoticeable glances to a table the opposite side of the cafeteria.
mina was the first to mention bakugo's presence.
"im so glad your back, baku!" she exclaims.
"thank y-" he starts before getting cut off.
"yeah me too, kat!" exclaims the red head. bakugo just smiled while everyone else just stared at kirishima, blankly.
"thanks. i hate to admit, but i kinda missed this place." bakugo grumbles.
"aw, we missed you too!" denki says, slyly.
"i said this place, not you."
"whatever you say." he responded, rolling out the 'y'.
all of a sudden, kirishima phone dings. he immediately checks it and excuses himself.
as he rushes out of the cafeteria, bakugo notices someone else missing.
deku.
it's probably just a coincidence.
as lunch slowly comes to an end, kirishima finally comes back.
"hey, bro! where did'ja go?" denki asks.
"oh, just to the restroom."
everyone gave him a puzzled look. who goes to the bathroom for 30+ minutes? well, i guess kirishima does.
they decided not to question him, and they just pack up their stuff and head to class.
a/n short chapter. i really don't know what to do with this book tbh. but we'll just see how it turns out.
