"We need someone to go in there and figure out exactly where to look. The alarm goes off after five minutes. That's five, to get in, find the book, get out." Lydia explained as she pointed at the photo of the building that was stuck to Stiles' mystery board.

"I'll go." Cora offered.

"Well if that's the case you'll need someone strong and charming to help you." You offered and grinned at Cora who rolled her eyes.

"I mean. (Y/N) did work there for three weeks last year." Stiles offered as a way to defuse a tension building between the two of you.

"I don't need any help." Cora assured you.

"Why only three weeks?" Peter pressed curiously.

"I didn't get on with the management style." You replied casually. Peter chuckled as Lydia scoffed at you.

"I'm guessing it was your inability to follow any kind of direction or instruction that hindered your career with them." Cora said with a judging tone. She reached for her glass of water which was sitting on a coaster next to her. Grinning, you leaned on the table and looked her up and down.

"Well if I had followed their instructions I would still be working for them, helping them kidnap supernatural people." You pointed out. Which made Cora glare at you as she finished her drink and set the glass down with a thump.

"If I work with them I'm going to lose my temper and bite them." Cora said to Scott and Derek who were hoping the two of you would calm down and let them tell you their plan.

"You're not going to buy me dinner first? You must really be in love." You teased.

"I'm not trying to fall in love." Cora said back. You smiled and shrugged.

"Could that be because you've already fallen?" You asked. Cora grumbled under her breath and stomped out. Derek turned to you and frowned.

"This is serious (Y/N). You can't keep winding Cora up." Derek scolded with an unimpressed look on his face.

"Who says you can't be serious and have fun?" Peter said quickly.

"I do. Now you can go with Cora and help. But only if you're not going to keep bothering her." Derek with firm in his tone and you relented, promising that if you went with her you'd behave while Lydia hurried off to find Cora and convince her to come back to hear out the plan.
