A good night's sleep {KeithxReader}

(Y/N)'S POV

I was laying in bed staring up at the ceiling as it was nighttime in the Castle of Lions. I was twisting and turning while shoving the blanket off the bed until I finally gave up on finding a comfortable position to sleep in.

(Sigh) "How am I going to sleep?"

I then thought about walking around the castle in the dark. "Well, I could walk around the castle in the dark,but the others might think that's creepy... Oh well."

I got up off my bed and walked out of my room. As I passed the training room, I heard the sound of metal flashing together.

I went to go check what was making those sounds as I walked through the door, I saw my best friend/crush, Keith. 

Keith was brawling with a gladiator with his sword and the gladiator staff clashed together over and over again.

Me being Keith's childhood best friend, I was very frustrated with him for not caring about his health and always training for hours non-stop.

"End simulator." I said crossing my arms. Keith turned his head over to my direction as I walked over to him.

"What are you doing here (Y/N)? You're supposed to be sleeping." Keith said looking at me sternly.

"Well I couldn't sleep so I decided to walk around the castle when I found you here. What about you?" I asked looking at Keith with a suspicious look.

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to train."

"Keith, you it's bad for your health and you don't need to over work your self." I sighed.

Keith then lowered his head and said, "But I need to get stronger (Y/N) so we can defeat Zarkon."

"We do need to defeat Zarkon, but that doesn't mean you can't care for yourself." I say as I take his hand in mine and started walking towards the exit dragging Keith behind me.

"But-"

"No buts."

Keith then stayed quiet as I lead him through the hallways. "Where are you taking us (Y/N)?" Keith asked breaking the silence between us.

"To your room."

"Why?"

"To put YOU to sleep." I said behind me while smiling at Keith.

We entered Keith room after our little talk. "Ok,we're here. Now go to sleep, I'm going to my room." I said letting go of Keith's hand and quickly stole a glance of him seeing a bit of sadness and hesitation on his face before I turned towards the door.

When I neared the door, I felt a hand softly grab mine and I turned around seeing Keith with a slight blush covering cheeks.

"Yes Keith?

"Um... Canyoustayherewithme?" Keith said while shutting his eyes closed.

I giggled at the way Keith asked he question and said "Ofcourse."

I watched as Keith opened his eyes and saw a hint of relief and happiness in his eyes. Keith then let go of my hand and took off his jacket placing it in his closet then walked over to his bed.

I layed next to Keith on his bed as his back was facing me. I closed my eyes ready to fall asleep when I felt the bed shift.

"Hey um... could I wrap my arms around you?" Keith asked nervously.

"Oh... sure." I replied as I blushed to his question.

Keith wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his chest as he layed his chin on top of my head.

"Good night Keith." I said while I relaxed my body and drifted off to sleep in Keith's arms.

Before I lost consciousness, I heard Keith say "Good night (Y/N)."
